The day someone paid me 45k to deep clean a one-bedroom flat was my validation.

Let me tell you why.

When I left banking to start a cleaning business, it didn’t make sense to many people. Banking sounded secure. Cleaning sounded… like mediocrity.

Some people openly asked,
“Why leave the office for this?”

But that day, when a client agreed to pay 45k for a one-bedroom apartment, I felt a different kind of confidence.

Not because it was a huge contract.
Not because it was millions.

But because it was confirmation.

Confirmation that people would pay for quality.
Confirmation that this new path could stand.
Confirmation that I didn’t make a mistake.

I remember finishing that job tired but proud. When the client saw the transformation and was happy, I knew this was more than just cleaning.

It was value.
It was service.
It was a business.

Many people ignore “small” jobs because they are waiting for big opportunities. They want large offices, estates, and corporate contracts immediately.

But every strong business starts somewhere.
