💊 “Not Just for Typhoid!”

Think Amoxicillin and Ciprofloxacin are only meant for typhoid? ❌ That’s a misconception!

These antibiotics are broad-spectrum agents used in the management of several bacterial infections — including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin and soft tissue infections, and bacterial pharyngitis.

🚫 Indiscriminate use of these medicines for “any fever” or self-diagnosed typhoid contributes to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) — a growing global health threat.

👉 Best practice: Always take antibiotics only on the prescription of a licensed physician or the recommendation of a registered pharmacist after proper evaluation.
