Tribute to Our Leader, Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpo

On behalf of the Chairman, Executive Secretary, Board Members, and Staff of the Bayelsa State Primary Health Care Board, we express our deepest condolences to the family of our dearly beloved Deputy Governor and to the good people of Bayelsa State. Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpo was a passionate advocate for quality, accessible, and equitable primary health care, whose vision and commitment significantly strengthened immunization and health service delivery across the state.

His leadership as the State Immunization Ambassador and Chairman of the State Task Force on Immunization inspired renewed dedication, accountability, and community trust in our health system.

As we intensify immunization activities during the 10-day Integrated Measles–Rubella Vaccination Campaign, we do so in honour of his legacy, upholding the values of service, compassion, and excellence that he championed.

Though he is no longer with us, his impact lives on in the healthier lives of our children and communities. May his gentle soul rest in the bosom of our Lord. Amen.

Signed:
Chief Dr. Williams Weri Appah
Executive Secretary, Bayelsa State Primary Health Care Board.
