Who is joining us?!

I am sure by now everyone knows that my days soon will be filled with a new little two legged animal❤️

38 weeks this week and waiting patiently for his arrival. For now, nesting is in full swing 🙌 grateful to be feeling good and healthy.

I will be taking a few months off to enjoy this new season and looking forward to being back and taking care of your four legged family.

Meet Gaia!

Gaia suffered a rare case of neurological fallout following a routine vaccination a few months ago.

Her balance and ability to focus change from one day to the next, and was accompanied by severe anxious behavior.

First thought was that there had to be something else going on but a CT scan and blood tests revealed no abnormalities.

On her first visit (left video) she struggled to focus and couldn’t walk towards me without losing her balance. She was really unsteady on her paws.

I am happy to report that with the guidance and specific remedies from an amazing homeopath, Chiropractic care and home exercises she is almost back to her old self. Her anxiety has severely decreased and she is more and more confident when moving (right video).

Getting our pups off to a good start is so important!

That means that right from the start we are looking after their health with prevention as the main goal.

Pups have so many falls,leaps and tumbles. Their body is young and healthy and so manages to compensate and find balance throughout it all.

It’s only when they are older that all these adventures catch up to them and we start to see symptoms, most commonly stiffness or limping.

What if we could prolong the inevitable?

What if we started supporting their body from the start? Before they are in pain, before their body can no longer manage and symptoms start to develop.

That’s what this family is doing and it’s wonderful!

Chiropractic is for everyone one, at all ages and stages.

Meet Puffy!

Puffy is a rescue pup. She suffered a lumbar disc herniation a few years. She under went surgery and recovered really well. A few weeks ago she suddenly lost feeling in her back legs again. The vet diagnosed her with another disc herniation and told her owner that there isn’t much to do and she should start saying goodbye. She didn’t want to give up on Puffy.

When I saw her the first time she was sitting mostly, dragging her back legs and only every now and then using her back paws for a bit of balance as she put most of her weight on her front legs.

I have been adjusting her for a few weeks now and together with exercises, decompression, vibration therapy and lots of patience -
she is improving!

She is also definitely feeling better as her owners reports that she is back to chasing the postman and playing with the cat (all still a little wobbly though).

Let’s send Puffy some love and healing vibes on her journey to recovery.

When you understand the benefits of chiropractic care for yourself (and your clients) it’s only natural that you want that same care for your four legged family.

Like a colleague of mine always says -“spines of all shapes and sizes deserve to be adjusted”.

Someone escaped from the paddock a few weeks ago. 😅🐴

On his return he slid back on the road and fell on his side.

Even though he seemed fine there after the impact on his body should not be ignored.

The body compensates and adapts as it attempts to return to recreate balance, leaving no visible symptoms.

As time passes, however, these compensation pattern (together with daily stressors and training) become harder and harder for the body to maintain, eventually leading to health and/or movement problems.

He is young and just starting under the saddle. Making sure there aren’t any underlying compensation patterns is key in preventing injuries and supporting healthy development as he gets older.

This is what preventative care is all about ❤️🐴

Woody’s human mom is under chiropractic care and has seen the benefits in her own health so decided that he should also have his spine and nervous system checked.

A little late but HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope this year will be filled with new strength, more laughter and many adventures with your four legged family.

My goal in 2022 is to grow, expand my knowledge, and bring even more value when it comes to your pets chiropractic care and wellbeing.

Our days are better with the love of an animal and they deserve nothing but the best when it comes to their health.

Cats are not as easily bribed with treats or affection so adjusting them can be challenging.

Alaska is dealing with some post traumatic pelvic instability. She is getting adjusted regularly to support healthy compensation patterns and, most importantly, ensure optimal brain to body feedback through her nervous system as her body heals and finds balance.

Alaska did great for her first adjustment and she was very trusting. Her sister, on the other hand, definitely had the “I wanne scratch your eyes out” look with accompanying “die now” theme song which she sang to me the whole time I was checking her 🤢😅.
