Most people think they freeze under pressure because they’re weak.
That’s not the reason.
When pressure rises, your body changes.
Your heart rate spikes.
Your breathing shortens.
Your vision narrows.
I saw it time and time again.
The people who stayed calm weren’t calmer people.
They were trained people.
They’d experienced that level of pressure before.
The same applies to training.
If you’ve never pushed yourself when your breathing is out of control... when your legs are heavy... when your body wants to stop...
Your mind panics.
Pressure doesn’t create panic.
It exposes preparation.
You don’t rise to the occasion.
You fall to the level of your training.
