Yet, the mullein plant may cause skin irritation for some people, so be sure to exercise caution if you’re handling the herb directly.

The tiny hairs of the plant can also irritate your throat, which is why it’s important to strain this tea thoroughly before drinking it.

Additionally, no research is available on mullein tea’s safety for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Thus, these populations should consult a healthcare professional before using it.

How to make it:

You can find prepackaged mullein tea bags, extracts, capsules, and dried leaves at many health stores, as well as online.

What’s more, many people grow mullein in their garden and dry the leaves on their own.

To make the tea with dried leaves, simply add a small handful of them to an 240-ml cup of boiling water, then steep them for 15–30 minutes. To prevent throat irritation, use a strainer or cheesecloth to remove as many of the leaves as possible.

Today we are going to talk about Anxiety.
Studies of the benefits of massage demonstrate that it is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension. While more research is needed to confirm the benefits of massage, some studies have found massage may also be helpful for: Anxiety.
What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure. People with anxiety disorders usually have repeatedly intrusive thoughts or concerns. They may avoid certain situations out of worry.
A 60-minute massage can lower cortisol, the stress hormone, by up to 30 % after just one session. In addition to its calming effects, massage therapy can help alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, including muscle tension and sleep disturbances.
However for someone with an anxiety disorder, massage can be a cause for panic. In addition to the claustrophobia and strangeness they might experience on a massage table, ‘their' worries can likely run deeper.

Massage does boost the immune system and relieve your tension. However, when your body is already fighting off a virus due to a cold or flu, a massage can actually make things worse.
Why do I feel sick after a massage?
