Week 49: Water Element — for Willpower & Fear 💧
This week we’re working with the Water element.
🌊 What we’re doing:
We’ll be lifting the heels, waking up the soles of the feet, and connecting with Yongquan (K1) — that little spring point that feeds our deepest energy. We’re building up to Wheel Pose in the yang classes, really opening up and letting energy move.
💫 Why this matters:
Winter asks us to find soft strength. Not the kind that pushes hard or gives up, but the kind that bends, adjusts, and keeps going. Like water — we go around what’s in the way, we seep through, and bit by bit we change things.
🦶 The invitation:
Every time you lift your heel, notice that spring under your foot. Feel that energy come up through your legs, up your back, all the way to the top of your head. Ground down so you can rise up. Stay light but stay rooted.
