Liuhe - Six Harmonies or Six Coordinations has a number of different meanings for example referring to area/space, the internal organs, pysch/mindset and so forth. One of the meanings is known as the "body's external six harmonies" refers to the movement, including the active and passive structures involved especially of the major joints but also bones, muscles and all associated connective tissues.
The body's external Liuhe refers to the fundamental training to achive stability, balance, coordination, efficiency, power snd endurance. When the relationship between different parts of the body are trained, the so called kinetic chain, then optimal efficiency of power and techniques are achieved.
Stability is required to provide a stable base for functioning . Stability concerns usually focus on the proximal musculature in the trunk , shoulders , and hips , which allow for movement of the extremities .
Stability is required before balance can exist. Balance is the ability to execute complex patterns of movement with the right timing and sequence.
Balance is essential to motor function, as is the ability to maintain the center of gravity over the available base of support.
Coordination is the efficient ex*****on of a movement . Coordination usually involves motor learning and practice.
Efficiency is how force can pass through the chain with less wastage due to the synchronization between the chain but also free from blockages and balanced in strength distribution, or power.
Endurance ( lasting power ) is based on efficiency and stamina.
