The Awakened do not hate 'Maya'.

I talk a lot of smack in here and kick a lot of basement doors in to try and get my point across. It is great fun (to me), you have no idea ;;). It is also the most direct and easy way to expose the 'not so serious seekers' from that rare, rare serious one. What rests on no foundation is toppled easily as the ego is ultimately a sand castle without any real fundaments. The builder still cries for its destruction on account of all the effort that was put into erecting it.

Someone going through the often hellish process of awakening will instantly know what I am speaking of. The rest; not so much. It does not seem to conform to the image society has put before them of what they regard as the hallmarks of a 'perfect being'. What is never questioned however is who or what has put that image before them.

Keep pushing them long enough and Maya starts to growl, even at me. ;;)

It is only when the cracks that are formed in The Porcelain Shell that constitutes The False Identity - The Little Self, if you will - begin to let the light in, that she (temporarily) becomes an uninteresting distraction to the neophyte. When I call her a 'bitch' I mean that LITERALLY. In the same way a breeder 'sexes' the gender of a particular dog. For all intents and purposes of the metaphor she IS a bitch. A pseudocyesistic one at that. During the process she has to (and oddly can be) ignored for the most part but her presence and influence is still felt all around and should never be discounted! You are still dealing with a ...feral creature you want to keep your distance from as she goes about the business of protecting her litter.

Sure, sometimes you still have to put her in her place like the dog whisperer you are becoming but there is no hate for her there either. IN FACT: Once Awake you see how she plays a crucial role in protecting her 'Awakening offspring' from falling prey to the rest of the pack. You also see how the whole of her reality relies on the principle of co-creative manifestation. In a very 'real spiritual' way it is the illusion that keeps 'those that do not understand' from seeing those that have come to, or are about to, achieve Crystal Clarity as an existential threat.

She respects AND she protects.

If it were not for Maya respecting THE REAL, the primacy of consciousness as the Alpha AND the Omega there would not be an 'awake person' in the universe; ever. This seeing is key if you do not want to die in some pit of despair on account of 'your' Awakening. The specter of Nihilism looms large and it will be used by those around you to stave off or hinder your path towards attainment. Maya may respect The Truth but that does not mean she's going to roll over and show her belly to just anyone. But when she does; you can freak in the morning, a freak in the evening, just like me. All you 'need' is a roughneck brother (or sister) that can satisfy you. ;;)

Enlightenment is not something you choose; it is pre-ordained,
By the YOU you do not think of as YOU yet.

In highly regarded (not necessarily by me ;;) spiritual literature, the most poignant description of the relationship between the Awakened Self and the Dream of Illusion (aka 'Maya') is found in the Ashtavakra Gita: It presents a (now considered 'radical' for obvious reasons) non-dualist perspective where the world is viewed not just as a mistake, but as a "magic show" or a "drifting boat" within the vast, unaffected ocean of the Self.

The fictional King Janaka discovered after his awakening, not that the world has disappeared, but that its NATURE has shifted from a solid reality to a transparent one.

"In the boundless ocean of my Self, the world-boat drifts here and there... I am not put out by that". I am pure consciousness, and the world is like a magician's show. How could I imagine there is anything there to take up or reject?"

Adi Shankara (purportedly) described the shift in perspective as realizing a "snake" on a dark path was actually just a "coiled rope".

"Once the light of truth (knowledge) reveals the rope, the fear of the snake vanishes instantly. The "Awakened" can watch others panic over the snake while walking in "silence and peace," knowing it was never there to begin with."

The Isha Upanishad contains a famous prayer that poignantly describes Maya as a beautiful but blinding barrier. It describes the material world as so dazzlingly "golden" (full of charms and temptations) that it prevents the seeker from seeing the underlying Absolute Reality.

"The face of Truth is covered by a golden lid.
O Sun, remove that cover so that I may behold the Truth"

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna describes the poignant state of the unawakened as being "mounted on a machine," whirled around by the power of illusion. As a proponent of the Theme Park analogy I can only concur. ;;) Remember also that in the time of the Upanishads there was not even the concept of 'a machine' yet...

"The Awakened Self is the one who "takes refuge" in the Divine to cross this "difficult-to-overcome" ocean of Maya, moving from the chaotic rim of the merry-go-round to the peaceful center."

Janaka said:

"Truly I am spotless and at peace, the Awareness beyond natural causality. All this time I have been afflicted by the... INNER QUEST"

They are all pointing at the same thing:
A non-existent reality" that is "truly false" and falsely true.

This metaphor represents imho the pinnacle of the enlightened perspective: Seeing the world as a profound "cosmic play" (Leela) rather than a mere void, where the "snake" (the fear of the world's limitations) is realized to be nothing but a "rope" (the non-dual Self/Brahman).

When you realize Brahman, the wonder of Maya's working vanishes. ...
The world is not, yet it appears to exist."

Note how I did not write "no longer from it" since it is easy to misinterpret and then misrepresent or garble or change my words to mean what they do not in order to take another ride on the aforementioned merry go round. Words cannot do it justice at all. Code-words can.

I put quotes in a code bracket as well, because only code can be used to DECODE the subject or bring clarity to the routine that is (or is not) running there.

TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU JUST AS SURE AS NONE AT ALL.

I read a lot of BS advice about (the need for) love, compassion and how to 'love' or 'accept yourself' in places.. in spiritual and intellectual echo dungeons like r/ awakened and r/ nonduality and r/ enlightenment etc. It always gets interwoven with the business of waking up, awakening or with the realization and understanding of "This", "That" and "The Other Thing" about it.

A Free For All hailed as some kind of tool of insight. A path to awakening. Come on now! ;;)

DELUSION shines through in many posts and comments I see here all day. Depending on my ...'mood' (which I do not control AT ALL nor need to control at all btw) I will strike it down with great fury or 'anger' only to find myself in the same place 1 second later. I am not bothered. By ANYTHING, EVER. What you see or read in my words is your own personal interpretation of things from some personal POV. It cannot ever be any other way in duality. A place I can hardly remember anymore mind you, let alone what was so great or attractive about it.

I feel stupid most of the time. People have no idea of how I have no idea. When I would present myself to them as a teacher or a guru they believe it! I cannot believe anyone would fall for it. ;;)

Let's talk about love. The four letter word. Not LOVE the only thing there is.

You can get a hug from someone sure...

So what? It's not a crime or anything. The interesting thing however - from the awakened perspective - is the intent behind it. The CONTEXT in which it all happens. The whole hugging thing can persist and take precedent over the process of awakening itself. Suddenly there is a way out for the panicked Ego. The trap of a 'Similar fate' rears its ugly head. And so people will tend to huddle together while seeking solitude was the real path forward up until that point. TOGETHERNESS is the pièce de résistance of the failed search to awaken. Satsang its wine. Folks doing the same thing they were doing before starting all this, while claiming that THIS TIME it will or has resulted in a different outcome. That they are 'growing'. Yes, they are: They are growing AS A PERSON.

The very opposite of what Awakening entails: transcending the PERSON.

They all believe every other week after meditating wearing silly robes and singing songs and prostrating really hard... that something has changed while it is crystal clear that it hasn't (and won't) to anyone with half a brain.

This whole thing is supposed to be about Waking Up from Self. Right?

Waking up is about getting to the truth of your PERSONAL predicament. Warts and all. Because one is only able to step out of one's own BS when one is able to smell it. What people call 'an awakening' is really just the power of discernment coming in. You still have to 'follow it home'. Most people waste all their allotted time in here on rainbows and flowers BS. Sunshine Spirituality is a condition not the experience of Absolute Truth. The problem (of not waking up despite trying really hard) is that you should know when to cast the iron ..you cast it when it is hot. There is no need to look for the truth of it 'in numbers' either. It is already built-in while Maya had rather you spent all your time looking for it OUTSIDE. Or better yet in others! In LEARNING other's how to be HUMAN for instance. It is the opposite of waking up.

Trust me, no freaking mass awakening is coming. EVER.
None is needed even! It is not about that at all.

There is ONE voice that doesn't use words. You listen to that before you listen to anyone else.

A lot what goes on in here has to do with alignment. Alignment of ideas and what is the best definition of . Maya is sneaky like that. She WANTS you to define truth where the light is convenient to define it. Just below the lamp post! Never in the dark. The void. No, in numbers! Literally. We are long passed the era of Homo Sapiens. Homo Sapiens is a dying species. Soon Homo Calculus will reign supreme. You may not see it but I do. ;;)

Most of the time folks in here are only talking about what they WANT (or what they GOT) out of Awakening. You can read it all the time in here. Mostly when I poke them ;;) huge Red flags go up.

My friends, believe me when I tell you today or believe it tomorrow when you come to your fu***ng senses a bit more: THERE IS NOTHING 'TO GET' in here. Self-delusion is the only delusion there is and to overcome it you start with actually questioning your OWN bu****it 'wants' and cockamamie 'needs' like your very life depends on it.

Because it does!

A 'not fun' exercise. Many happy-go-lucky spiritualists and 'love thy neighbor as thyself' types are very adept at actively avoiding this very practice. They are drawn to me like flies to a turd. And I am happy to oblige them. Since none of them can ever meet me where I am not, I have to always meet those that 'are' where the believe they are.

It simply does not compute any longer. Humanity,, or whatever they insist on calling literal freaking Wonderland. Once you start paying some real fu***ng attention to what is actually said and how it points back to DELUSIONS of the very self you are trying to get on top of, it starts to make super-sense.

How easy it is to avoid making the Self uncomfortable.

It is so god damn easy man. Comfort .. peace of mind (in stead of peace without mind) is the currency of the spiritual dreamer. But DISCOMFORT is the currency of the serious seeker, and he's going for broke.

Whatever you observe is observed WITHIN you. You cannot (and do not need to) look behind WHAT you are when all there IS is never not INSIDE of you. Trying to claim that the eye needs to see itself 'to know itself' is intellectually already absurd. Why? For what? The footage ALWAYS tells a story. When once you find, ..or 'are given' the courage to look at the Truth from the perspective of consciousness you cannot argue your way around this.

The process is just about 'you' still trying to. Desperately.. despite the aforementioned truth. Until you exhaust that seeking energy completely. SURRENDER completely to what IS alone.

BOOM: Satori.

All that stands in the way of realization is FEAR. The FEAR of 'No-Self' is the Universal nightmare of the so called Human Being.

To see or to be a person is to be asleep. Period!

The very moment you accept your Self as an inherent part of the illusion is the very moment the delusion metastasizes. This constitutes the book-ends of the fairy tail of 'you'. No 'somebody' escapes that kind of lie.

The Lie that IS.

Friends, we can play games in here all day - I know I do ;;)
But it is the context (or a lack thereof actually) that 'matters'

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HOLDING YOUR HEAD UP.
Just make damn sure you severed it first; unless you want to be a Muppet your whole damn life ;;)

Then after that - for the love of God: get over your selves already.

Your ideas about your self are the root cause of all you so called 'problems'. Of the WHOLE false identity problem. It IS a prison you think of as your home and you will drown inside of that room eventually. Only those that have a clear sense of how the life sucking demands of EGO abuse their mind and bodies will have a chance at this waking up thing.

The rest will fail miserably and then they will reframe it into some bs spiritual success with the word 'healing' in there somewhere. The word 'healing' is one of the most heinous terms in the vocabulary of the perpetually miserable if the whole victimhood tapdance goes unchecked.

From the awakened perspective however, you cannot fix what is not even real. 'Pain' and 'Fear' may seem related but they are strange bedfellows on the spiritual path.

While a very few in here clearly do seek it (knowingly at the detriment of their selves), most of you in here 100%, secretly do not want any part of it at all. I am certain of it! ;;)

Some don't even want to THINK about it. You have seen all the fake gurus on FB right? The esoteric solution peddlers. You have seen them. I'm also sure you have smelled the BS at the root of most spiritual practices by this point in time. Look around you. AINT NOBODY WAKING UP! ...what gives?

Spiritual Sclerosis has set in. That's when the spirit has hardened and progress is no longer possible.

While the tragedies of the Self are not real 'In Truth' (which IS real). In the dreamstate fake fears will swallow you whole. You could die in the Matrix even though it is just a simulation ;;) Simply because you refuse to admit that you have invested years, decades ..a lifetime even in a CLEAR CUT case of mistaken identity. Presuming you have had that initial first stroke of Insight or some mystical epiphany that heralded a vague call to awaken)

Time is only wasted in eternity.
The awakened know it.
The asleep do not.

Here's the most HORRENDOUS thing any Human being can hear:

"You are not real."

"You are a ghost"

"you only have X days to live"

That's actually three things but then again; WHO'S counting. ;;)

I actually know who it is that is counting. It cannot help itself. It counts down the moment it has a name. So many years. So old. So young. So far to go. So many this so little that. Pffffff...

It's Homo Calculus.

Homo Calculus is the one who killed Homo Sapiens. We are long passed that noble iteration of Man ;;). It's about counting now. Beans. Whatever. As long as the math is mathing EGO is as giddy and happy as he can be. Toiling in the mud. Pi***ng in the rain ;;) ...not seeing that it is "All Vanity and a chasing after the wind'.

The most horrendous thing a human being can hear is that he is not real.. but only before he finds that out for Himself.

It defies every condition(ing) of the mind. Every single one.

The more conditioned your mind (through no fault of your own - up to a certain point that is) the more painful it will be. BELIEVE IT.

Every dead master, EVERY good book, EVERY SINGLE murdered freedom fighter or fighter for Truth (not justice) we all killed, maimed, murdered, burned at the stake throughout 'our' SO CALLED 'history' and cast out of Maya's Palace is still alive. What was never born need not die and come back either. Enlightenment is always here; where is everyone going?

They take the hand of delusion and get comfortable in the forest of Self. COMFORT is for the weak. Lies (or living one) is for the weak or the nefarious. Both different words for Those that have nothing but FEAR. The Fear of No-Self is the mother of all Fears.

There are many paths to the Truth. None to enlightenment.

THERE IS SIMPLY NO UNIVERSE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU.

That's not bad news. That's literal OMNIPOTENCE.

How do you not see it?

There are no 'Others'. It's ALL YOU. All of it.

The very thing you all need to pray to is YOU. lol!

The very thing they think is looking at you and judging you for being a bad boy or girl or being selfish or whatnot... The good, the bad and the ugly? mere aspects of Self not of consciouness itself. You cannot celebrate an aspect. You cannot wake up to the Self either. You can only get TRAPPED inside of it. It's HELL. From the awakened perspective. You paved para-fu***ng-dise and put up a parking lot.

Now the challenge is before you: how do you get back to a place you never even left? How? I'll tell you: SPiritual Warfare. Nukes and all. Not with 'another'. You are at war with your Self and you will be always. The awakened see no problem in it. Unless that Self tries to wage war on the Truth itself. Then it's clobbering time or "roll over and show your belly time" ;;)

Don't just concentrate on the good of Man. It is that same Man who is also 'bad'. It is that same Man that believes he dies and then goes to Heaven. Give me a break.

IT is literally your OWN FU***NG life you forfeit. For what? A couple of more rides in the Amusement park? In stead of looking for the hole in the fence? Please.

The Truth ITSELF. That thou art.

Who's above you? Who's below you? NOBODY.

If I see (or sense) a belief I just follow it back to its origin.
It always comes from the outside..

You don't need to 'understand' Awakening to awaken at all

The moment you stop confirming the supposed limits of your understanding is the moment it all starts to happen for you. Awakening will come the very moment you stop fighting your non-humanness. Read it again. This is fire under the ass of humanity itself. This is the purpose of its apparent 'iterative-ness.'

Your timeless and eternal nature provides you with endless chances and attempts to awaken - or fail at it!

The end of contemplating your own nature = ENLIGHTENMENT.

I keep hammering this point because it seems that folks are stuck in a mental loop but don't even notice it or actively avoid looking under their own bed as they try to look what (if anything) is under mine.... they are stuck in this mental prison of "I have to know myself before I can be myself".

No.

YOU HAVE TO BE YOURSELF TO KNOW YOUR SELF.

I know people believe I am being ..elitist about awakening. Or that I view myself as more or more properly awakened then someone else. Wrong again. There is no one out there more or less enlightened then anyone else. It's not a about the person at all. I am also not burdened at all by the restrictive nature of hierarchical viewpoints. The fact that there might be only a literal handful of awakened individuals on the planet at any one time in all of time should give anyone a sense of what I am actually talking about here. The idea of the many and the few or 'everyone should be awakened' or strive for it (like ANY school of thoughts will have you believe) does not even factor into any of it.

So what if there is only 1 of them ...or only 5? It's not a numbers game. AT ALL.

Belief is the s**t-brained version of Truth. Anyone can create one. And they do. We are ALWAYS at the cusp of 'human revolution or evolution" at all time in the world of Man. Nobody notices the continued switch and bait "here is a new insight into the same old s**t" we humans keep foisting upon each other.

They really believe that the pre-historic human, or the primitive "pre-WAHTEVER" human beings were less enlightened, capable or less intelligent then they are now. Or that their trials and tribulations where somehow inferior to the current ones. I assure you it is probably the other way around completely.

BELIEF, religion and s**t ending with '..ism' or '..ology' or '..sophy' are the McGuffins of the Dreamstate Movie. In the Dreamstate Movie the protagonist always dies in the end. 100%. But nobody questions that fact. It does not seem odd to them no matter how many times they are confronted with it.

BEHOLD the power of Maya ;;)

Religion and candy-store spirituality has made us all dumber. More re****ed. Literally.

Only a clown will make a whole religion for himself in order to become WHAT HE ALREADY IS.
Only a clown will pray or practice for absolution from HIMSELF.

pure madness.

So what if the world is not always full of the awakened? The awakened are always full of the world. ;;)

There are no cookie cutter Awakening strategies out there.
.don't let anyone tell you they have one.

It's not even about 'change' - since there is nothing you can do or believe or meditate on that will transform a 'false' self in some kind of true self. Not a damn thing.

Transcendence 'will come' on account of the incessant rejection of any and all thinking, contemplation, rumination, meditation mental/mentation in such a way that its importance wanes, moves - or is held - 'in the background' while 'what IS' inches ever closer to the foreground. So to speak.

That is why I will always maintain that anyone promoting any kind of practice as a way towards it CANNOT be enlightened him or herself because the practice itself would immediately be recognized as another hilarious attempt of mind/ego to claim the experience for itself.

There is this big misconception (or conspiracy ;;) that the process of awakening is in some way controllable, malleable or steerable. The fact of the matter is that it is all about taking your damn hands of the tiller and letting the boat steer itself.

That's it.

Or as someone kept hammering to me back in the day: "What are you pretending not to know?"

That's all you need 'to do'.

So in fact it is a not a way of doing at all; it is a way of 'being done'.
You don't have to believe me. I would rather have you don't actually because even that attitude opens up a whole can of anti-awakening worms. Belief is the main problem. Because the ego cannot and will not accept the fact that: No belief is true. It simply is not. NO BELIEF IS TRUE. How can it be? It is never NOT a believe. A place-holder for not knowing something, not seeing something or not really having something. Your believe in God is just that. A BELIEF. You do not see Him so now you have to resign to the second best thing: believing he is there. (lol). I'd rather have you accept your faith going through it such as it goes. Because you cannot take anything with you. Your 'former self' - unreal as it already is - will not make it.

After dramatic bouts of loneliness and feelings of ostracization it will slink back into the background or disappear completely. Because there is nothing to get for it anymore. Nothing to change into or 'become'. The jig is up. When once you see this reality for what it is not; you can be free from it.

Forever.

If you are so inclined you may pick it up later and try to fit into it again. But it will be an ill-fit for the most part. Because The World Of Man, once seen for what it is not, is no longer something that in any way shape or form has any bearing on what unfolds for you once you look out into the world with abiding non-dual awareness.

There is nothing for me to lose from anyone believing what I claim and there is nothing I will ever gain from those who do believe me. Or even those who have finished their journey themselves and claim I had something to do with it. I did not ;;) They were ready to pop. I can smell it on a person. That is all. The way they speak, the way they talk about their pain... it all sounds too familiar. The delicate perfume of Enlightenment preceeds their every word and lamentation. At the very best I am conveying to them an attitude that aligns with 'how it starts'.

Things will get increasingly fantastical and magical as you progress and the veil begins to lift. But you are going to be in disagreement with the Self and the entire world including your loved ones for a long time. Not many people are ready for what is seen even looking at their own family members in this 'state' (it is not a state btw) for quite some time. Now, it is all part of the process and it will get exceedingly easier as you go. But it is not for brittle spirits and the faint of heart who are dreaming about cracking this nut without even having the required hunger, the burning desire inside for it. It is no picnic. You are going to have to want it more then your so called life itself. It is not some Kumbaya journey of love and understanding. This is simply the way it is. All I offer is the Truth. Maddening and highly undesirable the more you try to analyse its cataclysmic repercussions for the Self, the Ego, the personality.. all of it.

You have all seen me argue in here that 'true enlightenment' is not what most people think it is. It’s not bliss, peace, or spiritual highs. Instead, I will describe it as “the complete annihilation of the false self.” Enlightenment, 'to me' (stay with me now ;;), is a brutally honest realization that there is no personal self, no meaning, and nothing to attain (for it). It’s not about adding something new—it’s about seeing through everything that’s false, including most spiritual teachings.

My main message is that most people don’t really want truth—they want A truth. Or: comfort. But the real Truth is uncomfortable, a devastatingly harsh piece of business to get grips with. As I said before: don't try to get to grips with it. Let it consume 'you' as it should. It is about getting out of your own way, about making room for What IS.

I am not saying these distinctly Human traits and concepts and things are 'gone' or no longer relevant or enjoyable 'after' (I'd argue they exponentially increase actually) but the process itself is not about love, peace, or unity — it's about getting to the Truth. It is not an achievement or a higher state of consciousness, but rather the absence of illusion. Enlightenment is brutal, solitary, and often unpleasant, which is why so few people actually get it or even want it.

What most people call 'spiritual growth' or 'awakening', is just ego-preservation often dressed in holy robes. We've all seen the carnival of people in here who exactly fit that description and will bust a capillary if you suggest they are actually more full of s**t then most of the people reading their crap. ;;) - The lack, absence or trivializing ones own lack of self-reflection is a hallmark of Ego. I will also maintain that, in the end, ALL WILL ARRIVE. But I will also say that it will not 'matter'. Life is all about pushing you to awakening. Every birth is a traumatic experience. Those who can remember their own birth (I have n such recollection mind you but some have) will tell you all about it. The entire human endeavor is not about living... it is about 'dying'.

AKA Transcendence.

I see my own journey (as far as I have any memories of it left still) not as a gaining of wisdom, but as a stripping away of everything untrue, until nothing remained. There is no path, teacher, or system that can deliver truth—only a relentless inner drive to find what is real. My role, if that is what you want to call it, is not to guide but to provoke—to act as a "spiritual autolysis" machine. A harbinger of the self-digestion of falsehoods. My message isn’t comforting (my existence is), but it’s powerful: I got the same message and it took me all but 3 years to get on top of my so called self. The rest is not even history anymore. If you want truth you are going to have to want it at all costs, you must be willing to destroy everything you think you are.

So yeah... Enlightenment is a destructive process that shatters illusions and leaves you with nothing but what is undeniably REAL. I call it “truth-realization” rather than self-improvement for instance. I like the term a certain author coined for it: 'Untruth Unrealization' a lot better. It is extremely accurate (I am just using human terms here mind you - there is no accuracy to any word out there). But it will be a hard term to understand if you are not in fact already there ;;)

Try to get what I am claiming here. Really take it in.
There is no Self to improve. The Self is just another womb for you to eject from.

I don't offer a path to follow (there is none), but rather an unflinching mirror that dares the less brittle reader to look deeply and honestly at what it is they truly are.

Now, where did I put that crack-pipe....
