Advisor on climate change, James Gustave Speth, said: "I used to think that top environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that thirty years of good science could address these problems. I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy, and to deal with these we need a cultural and spiritual transformation."
Join us with the Core Training Spiritual Ecology in Amsterdam this fall, there are still few places left
The goal of the training (8 days) is
● to explore our inner responses to the condition of the world
● to prepare to take part in its healing (and recognizing ways you already do that)
What we do can alter the direction we're heading.
It already does.
The conversations we have, the questions we ask, the actions we take - they matter.
All of them.
They are connected in ways we can’t even begin to understand

The training is based on the Spiral of the ‘Work that Reconnects’ by Joanna Macy and our background in the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development, Authentic Leadership, Theory of Living Human Systems, Evolutionary Psychology and Buddhism.
“The world is not a problem to be solved; it is a living being to which we belong (..) Until we go to the root of our image of separateness, there can be no healing.” Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee
Together with MIndful Compassion Amsterdam we are organising an 8 day Spiritual Ecology Core Training, starting Oct 2019, running through to March 2020 (doesn't that sound strange, 2020?!)
Here's the program - for more info and to register your interest, see the FB event:

feel very welcome to join if this speaks to you. Especially if you're working in an environmental NGO, a large organisation that still operates as 'business as usual' or when you're working around topics like the refugee crisis and polarisation. We want to bring a mix of people together who feel the urgency to change, the stuckness of the system and the messiness we are in, and who are eager to show up differently in their day to day context.
we are committed - and we welcome anyone who is too.
