I think it’s important to define what microdo$ing truly is and how we incorporate it into out MFP:

You often hear people describe microdo$ing as a tool, a skill, a technology, or a practice. But what is it, really? It’s all of these—and yet none of them.

By definition, microdo$ing is the practice of taking small, sub-hallucin0genic amounts of p$ychedel1cs with the intention of improving one’s life (James Fadiman).

On a practical level, for an individual, microdo$ing is a tool. It can be layered with other modalities like journaling, somatic experiencing, breathwork, and meditation to support personal transformation.

But microdo$ing becomes truly transformative when approached as a skill to be developed—when it’s woven into your life as part of a devotional practice. It holds you accountable to your higher self and higher living.

In this sense, microdo$ing is all of these things mentioned above and none of them, because at its core, it’s an amplifier, a catalyst.

As with any amplifier or catalyst, your attitude & your beliefs toward it shapes your experience.

This is where a professional—a microdo$ing facilitator or coach—steps in to use microdo$ing as a technology.

Why and how? When a client takes microdo$es, it amplifies aspects of their life, revealing patterns, beliefs, and opportunities for growth.

From the client’s perspective, this amplification can sometimes feel like an annoyance or discomfort.

Here’s where the facilitator becomes invaluable: they reflect back what they see with love and compassion, guiding the client to make sense of what’s being amplified.

This ability to use microdo$ing within a safe and intentional container, to mirror back insights, and to guide clients through their journey is what we teach in the MFP.

Er wordt steeds meer wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar microdosing gedaan. De eerste resultaten zijn positief, maar er is meer grootschalig, specifiek, langlopend, placebogecontroleerd onderzoek nodig om een helder beeld te schetsen van de positieve en eventuele nadelige effecten.
