Not gonna lie… at the start I was thinking
how am I ever going to remember all this? 😅

Sen lines, sequences, techniques… my brain was buffering.

I started this journey back in 2022, and last month I graduated as a teacher.

But somewhere between the confusion, the practice, and a LOT of
“use your body weight!!”
it started to click.

And now I’m the one teaching it… which still feels a bit surreal, if I’m honest.

From student → teacher, but always a student first.

So much respect and gratitude to my teachers 🙏 Thank you!

Special shoutout to Teacher Paul for keeping me on my toes (and keeping it fun 😂) and to Master John for sharing this incredible healing art with the world.

Very grateful to be part of it ❤️

“These are my ladies…” 😏

Every Thai massage therapist has their favourites. Here are a few from my toolkit:

#1 Tok Sen 🔨
A traditional Northern Thai technique using wooden tools to create rhythmic tapping along the sen lines. Amazing for deep tension and stubborn muscle knots.

#2 Reflexology 👣
Using a reflex stick to stimulate pressure points on the feet (and soon hands!). Each point corresponds to organs and systems in the body.

#3 Pha Khao Ma 🧣
The famous Thai scarf. Used for assisted stretches, traction, and getting deeper into muscles without forcing the body.

#4–5 Elbow & Knee 💪
The therapist’s built-in power tools. Perfect for deeper pressure when thumbs just won’t cut it.

2025 💚

This year starts with my dad, and that feels right.
I haven’t shared this here yet, but I lost him in October. Starting this reel with us feels like carrying him forward with me.

2025 held so much: learning and laughing in Thailand, new skills, old friends, deep connections, sunrises and sunsets, dancing, silliness…
It also held some real challenges - coming home to then be injured, slowing down when I didn’t want to, and saying goodbye to someone I love beyond words.

Highs and lows. Growth and grief. Life, really.

To everyone who supported me this year - in the massage room and outside of it - thank you. Your trust, kindness and energy mean more than you know 🫶
And to my family: your support and love made so much of this possible. I’m endlessly grateful 🥹

Here’s to everything that shaped this year and to stepping into 2026 with open hands and an open heart 🤲

Taking what matters and moving into what’s next 💚✨

✨ Back in the Lanna Kingdom ✨

Last week, I kept a promise I made in December 2023 to myself and Dr. Shivago Komarpaj, the father of Thai traditional massage. I promised I’d come back to Chiang Mai to keep learning and growing - and here I am!

This trip has been so much more than just improving my massage skills. It’s been about reconnecting with the roots of this beautiful tradition and staying true to creating a space where people feel cared for and healed.

Standing at his altar, I took a moment to thank him for the blessings, wisdom, and guidance that have shaped this journey. I’m feeling so grateful, humbled, and excited to keep bringing this energy into my massage and sharing it with everyone I get to work with.

Here’s to keeping promises and staying open to the lessons along the way! 🙏💛
