The Food Lab HvA Transforming healthy, sustainable food concepts into authentic products. Our products are utmost affordable, tasty and can be enjoyed throughout your day!

An innovative collaboration created by students for students is ready to tickle your taste buds! As from today our products are waiting to be enjoyed in your school canteen restaurant. The brand name, 'The Food Lab' consists out of three different product lines, with expandability opportunities for the future. As a startup company, built by four graduation student in co-operation with staff of the Dr. Meurerhuis, it focuses on healthy, more sustainable products that not only are very tasty but also affordable. The products are produced and sold at the Amsterdam University College as well as the HvA Dr. Meurerhuis canteen restaurants. Its focus lies in stimulating a healthy meal or snack and lowering the threshold to a sustainable choice.

“We see a lot of creativity, innovation and talent at the Food and Diet Science program at HvA Dr. Meurerhuis, but after this fun event nothing is done with all these spectacular concepts. “We want to bring change in that”, was stated by the nutrition graduates. With added expertise from fellow students and lecturers The Food Lab gives all students the opportunity to bring their ideas into reality. These food concepts are then transformed into tangible, authentic products for everyone to enjoy. The Food Lab provides a practical learning framework for students and contributes to a tasteful, creative assortment for a healthy and more sustainable choice. Come and enjoy the new products stimulating young talent, the local environment and enriching your body with healthy nutrition.

Morgen is de Mini Food Market waar Food Lab aanwezig is! Vanaf 12:30 - 15:30 open! Er staan allemaal ondernemers die komend jaar bij de cateraar binnen HvA en UvA op grote locaties terug te vinden zijn. Als jullie zin hebben om te komen proeven, bij deze van harte welkom!
