🎉 Congratulations to Oliver Sandys on 5 years at Catalyze! 🎉

Today we celebrate a milestone for one of the key members of our Marketing & Communications team. As Content & Communications Specialist, Oliver has played an essential role in shaping Catalyze’s voice and sharing our story. Starting as an intern, Oliver has grown into a versatile communications expert who consistently delivers high-quality, impactful content.

Oliver shared, “Over the last 5 years, it’s been a pleasure to support Catalyze in its mission to accelerate meaningful innovations. Catalyze is a company with a strong team spirit, and my work in communications and content creation has always been highly collaborative. That combination has made my time here very special. Thank you to all my colleagues — and particularly my manager, Kirsten — for sharing your energy and enthusiasm each day.”

🌱 We had a great time at EIT Food’s Next Bite 2025!

Last week, our colleagues Valentina Quiroga-Fonseca, Laure Remmerswaal, and Anastasia Van Der Meer attended EIT Food’s Next Bite 2025 in Brussels, the flagship event bringing together innovators, investors, corporates, and policymakers to co-create the future of food in Europe.

Laure shared, "It was fantastic to connect with the entire AgriFood innovation ecosystem in person, seeing both familiar and new faces. We caught-up with some of our amazing clients, like Enrique Nacif at Green Legacy GmbH (pictured), and brainstormed with the EIT Food team, including Ana Arcila Murillo, about new ways to collaborate as partners. And we also enjoyed exchanging views with investors, and discovering exciting new innovative ideas shaping the future of food."

🎓 Catalyze at ARMA - NL 2025!

Last week, our Project Management colleagues Donna van Dommelen, Anne Buitelaar, and Sibi Bos joined the ARMA-NL 3rd Annual Conference in Utrecht.

The event brought together research managers and administrators from across the Netherlands to exchange knowledge, explore future developments and strengthen connections within the research ecosystem.

Donna shared, “It was nice to reconnect with fellow research managers and get inspired by the workshops and discussions!”

Last week marked the successful submission of all our Eurostars projects, after months of dedicated work, collaboration, and determination across our team.

To celebrate the achievement, we wrapped up the day with some well-deserved drinks at the office. A big well done to everyone involved for their incredible effort and team spirit!
