Burnout is a psychological term that is used to describe a long-term exhaustion and reduced interest in work or other activities.
The symptoms of burnout can be and are very similar to depression. Symptoms can be grouped into signs of physical and emotional exhaustion. Burnout can also have a lot of negative impacts on the body and even a person’s social interactions. Chronic burnout can also leave a person with mental issues such as cognitive impairments.

Some Physical, Emotional signs and symptoms of burnout

▫️Feeling tired and drained most of the time
▫️Frequent headaches or muscle pain
▫️Change in appetite or sleep habits
▫️Procrastinating, taking longer to get things done
▫️Decreased satisfaction and sense of accomplishment

Es tan importante cuidarse por dentro como por fuera. 💗
Que no nos de vergüenza decir que vamos, que no tardemos en ir, que no nos lo pensemos tanto igual que no nos pensamos ir al traumatólogo cuando te rompes un hueso, porque las personas rotas y los corazones rotos también se reparan con ayuda. Porque todos tenemos emociones que no sabemos gestionar y necesitamos ayuda en algún momento.
Pedir ayuda siempre es de valientes.
No te lo pienses, ir al psicólogo es normal.
Y si tienes una amiga que lo puede necesitar, ayúdale a dar el paso porque muchas veces necesitamos escuchar ese «venga, que entre las dos podemos con todo».

Me llamo María. Soy Psicóloga, especializada en Psicología Clínica y Salud. Actualmente vivo en Amsterdam.

Los servicios que ofrezco van dirigidos a pacientes adultos desde una orientación cognitivo conductual.

Tengo experiencia realizando terapia individual con pacientes y familiares que presentan problemas de ansiedad, depresión, dificultad para el manejo de emociones, enfermedades crónicas como enfermedades autoinmunes y cáncer.

Mi método de trabajo se basa en una exhaustiva evaluación que servirá de punto de partida para alcanzar los objetivos que plantea el paciente en terapia mediante una atención individual y personalizada.
