I just felt like something springy. I woke up with the sun shining outside, the birds singing, the gibbon monkeys in the background and with the promise of spring in the air.

🪷 A conscious moment 🪷

As a mom, I’ve been focusing on creating small daily rituals that help me stay balanced, present, and available for my family when they need me. 🌿

One of my favorite practices is pulling a card each day to set an intention. I pair this with a few minutes of mindful breathing to calm my nervous system and ground myself. I also love incorporating essential oils into this routine—whether it’s a calming Frankincense m or an energizing citrus, the scents help me feel centered and connected.

These moments don’t have to be perfect or take up much time. Sometimes it’s in the middle of the day, and that’s okay. It’s the little things, done consistently, that make all the difference.

These small rituals bring me peace, help me feel more present, and allow me to show up for myself and my family in a more meaningful way. 💛

🌼 Hello Spring 🌼

Ciao a tutti!!

Not sure if it’s spring or the fact that we really feel settled here in beautiful Italy after almost 3 months, but I feel like I need to be sharing here more in the coming months.

I now have more time to spend using and loving my essential oils and I want to share what I do and why with you. In the hope to help you get more out of the oils you already have and also to help you discover all that is possible with them.

I have been using the dōTERRA essential oils for a few years now and time after time I keep falling in love with them for so many different reasons:

- their smell
- their purity
- their safety
- the community around it
- the company behind & their vision
- the people I get to help
- the endless possibilities I can combine them & use them on myself, my baby, my entire family & even out pets
- what they mean for the future of healthcare

I know time is the most valuable thing we have so thank you for being part of this community and thanks for the trust!

Red Mandarin baby!

Red Mandarin essential oil carries a sweet, almost floral aroma. Cleansing and uplifting, it's beneficial to the skin and emotions. Taken internally, Red Mandarin essential oil can aid the digestive system.

Here is a few ways to use it:

🍊Add 2–3 drops to your skin cleanser or toner for boosted clarifying properties

🍊For a cleansing spray, add a several drops each of Red Mandarin and Purify blend to a spray bottle of water

🍊Diffuse in the morning to purify the air while invigorating and brightening mood

🍊Add a few drops to a cup of juice, tea, or water for digestive benefits.

Day 4

Ok so now we know which oils to use, how to combine them and also how to apply them, the next question is: how do you actually incorporate them in your routine and make sure you are consistent with it? Because you can have all the beautiful oils you want, but if you are not using them, they won't do you any good.

I wanna talk a little bit about routines and how to incorporate essential oils in your everyday life so that if does gradually grows into your lifestyle.

*start making one change at the time* it's much easier to incorporate one little change at the time. Start with the easiest thing for you, for example drinking a glass of water with lemon in the morning. Once you do this without even thinking about it, it's time to start with something new.

*make it as easier as possible* to use the oils. Keep your oils where you see them so you will use them. For my night routines, I keep oils in the bedroom, on my night stand and next my diffuser. This way I can easily grab and use them without having to go look for them first.

*piggy back something new you want to incorporate to one of your existing routines* For example, let's say you write in a journal or meditate before you go to bed or even read a book. Add your favorite essential oil to your ritual before to help you get even more relaxed.

*conbine different application methods for best results* if you are already using lavender in the diffuser at bedtime, take an extra moment to use some on your pillow or give yourself an nice foot massage. You will get a total experience and get more of that yummie oil in your body which will help you to relax even more.

*be conscious* no matter what it is you do just really be present and take the time to take care of you and be intentional about it. That is perhaps to most important thing you can do. Even if you just spend 2 minutes everynight taking a few deep breathes before you fall asleep while taking in the aroma of lavender, that is great! And give yourself a pat on the back if you do that.

I hope I was able to spark your creativity when it comes to your routines and maybe you even learned something new.
Above is a picture to inspire your bedtime routine. These are just a few suggestions on things you can do before you fall asleep to help you get more relaxed. There is no right or wrong. Just find what works for you.

Which oils can I use to support with a better sleep?

Here is a list of oils you can use and some diffuser ideas. The sames mixed that work for the diffuser, also can be used for a bath or to make a mix for under your feet or to make a nice spray to use in the bedroom.

Here is a list of the most commonly used essential oils in the bedroom:

*Lavender* calming and soothing, promotes a peaceful night rest

*Serenity* brings together some of the most calming essential oils, including Lavender, Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver

*Cederwood* is a grounding, woody blend that can also beautifully be combined with floral essential oils

*Vetiver* helps to create a stabilizing, grounded atmosphere

*Bergamot* can help promote a sense of calmness and harmony when used before bedtime (if you know me, you know I love this oil. I love to use it before I go to bed. To poor it all over me where I feel I need it and especially to smell if for a while and really soak in the fruity and fresh aroma right before I fall asleep)

*Melissa* the fresh, herbaceous aroma of Melissa is calming and soothing

*Ylang Ylang* the rich, floral aroma of Ylang Ylang oil has been used extensively in aromatherapy because of its ability to create a soothing, positive, relaxed environment

*Copaiba* is useful for creating a peaceful
environment. It’s also soothing to
the nervous system when taken
internally

*Juniper Berry* the fresh aroma, can produce a calming, grounding experience and contribute to lessen stress

*Peace* this beautiful blend our the emotional line is a mix of Frankincense, Marjoram, Vetiver, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Clary Sage and Spearmint. It's especially designed to help with feelings of anxiety and fear, promoting a more relaxed and peaceful state of mind. (I also love the smell of this blend)
