Founded in 1999, We Design Silversplints has continuously developed its expertise in medical Silversplints over the years. Combining craftsmanship in silver, a broad knowledge of application possibilities, and a deep understanding of medical conditions, this expertise is now supported by a diverse team. 🎄 Silversplint Sunday – Day 21! 🎄

Today’s box from our Silversplints advent calendar: the 6209CMC1 Stabilization Splint. This splint is designed to support and stabilize your thumb’s base joint (CMC1). It’s perfect if you experience:

- Pain or instability at the base of your thumb

- Difficulty gripping, holding, or twisting objects

- Problems with thumb movement due to arthritis or injury

With its silver closure, it’s not only functional but stylish too!

We’re proud to see Michael Keane from M&A Therapies - Physiotherapy - Hand Therapy, sharing insights about our MCP1 (+IP) Anti-Hyperextension Splint (6004 / 6104). 💚 This model helps block hyperextension of the thumb joint and the IP joint when needed, to restore stability and improve comfort during daily activities.

Our Story

We Design b.v. bestaat sinds 1999 en is opgericht door Wouter Robin Engelshoven. We Design is uitgegroeid tot een begrip binnen de orthopedie techniek. Haar specialisatie is het vervaardigen van silversplints voor vinger, duim, hand, pols en ellebogen. In zowel Nederland als in het buitenland zijn het graag gedragen ortheses.

De ortheses van We Design zijn ontwikkeld voor mensen die met name chronische (pijn)klachten ervaren aan de gewrichten van de vingers en duim, de hand, de pols en de elleboog. We Design werkt als toeleverancier aan een groot aantal instrumentmakerijen door heel Nederland. De orthopedisch instrumentmaker zal de orthese bij U aanmeten.
