Yesterday in Yverdon, Switzerland 🇨🇭, Dr. Gabriel Siquier was lecturing for aesthetics physicians from Spain 🇪🇸 about new treatments and protocols for an injectable that is specifically designed to help slow down the ageing process in men and women with different formulations to tackle specific needs of the skin but also alopecia patients. Fresh from the press 📰🗞 the article “Combined Systemic and Cutaneous Ovalbumin–Aluminum Sensitization Triggers Thermal Hyperalgesia, Spinal Gliosis, and Nociceptive Nerve Fibers Sprouting in Mice” has been published in the journal Physiologia, and it is already available online:

This study results shows that ovalbumin-treated mice displayed thermal hyperalgesia, increased astrogliosis, and reactive microglia in the spinal cord, and expanded CGRP- and IB4-immunoreactive fiber areas. In footpads, CGRP-positive intraepidermal nerve profile density was elevated, and dorsal skin showed increased mast cell density compared to controls.

This 18-month analysis aimed to establish the long-term tolerability and clinical effects of Definissse™ core + lidocaine volumizer in treating midface volume loss in middle-aged women.This paper continues the previously published analyses of the prospective and single-center study documenting HA safety and effects after 12 months. Definissse™ core + lidocaine provided sustained volumization, enhanced skin quality, and high satisfaction ratings at 18 months.
