Fertile Grounds is a body, mind & soul program designed for women that are facing difficulties in fullfilling their wish to become a mother. It has been created by Ellen van der Valk (Yoga Teacher and writer). She has been struggling with fertility issues for ten years. Through yoga, diving deep into herself, learning to listen to her heart and act upon that she transformed her deep pain into a deep feeling of trust, happiness and gratefulness for life itself. Inspired by the huge shift she experienced in herself she felt she wanted to dedicate her life to supporting other women that are dealing with fertility problems. The program focuses on finding peace and happiness while dealing with fertility problems or a unfullfilled wish to become a mother. And at the same time on getting a better and broader understanding of the root causes by self exploration. Ellen does not believe in a one-fixes-all solution. But she believes that all the answers to your struggle are waiting within you to be discovered. And also that there are a lot of things you can do for yourself to improve your natural fertility. The program consists of a variety of tools: yoga poses (a lot!), breathing techniques, meditation, food, visualisation, massages, herbs, investigating your thought patterns and limiting beliefs, etc. The program can be followed in different ways: 1-on-1, in a group, online and blended. It is available in English and Dutch.
