Today we celebrate these incredible reptiles that play a vital role in ecosystems across the globe.

“Of all reptiles, snakes are probably the animals that capture the imagination the most. Unfortunately, they are often associated with danger, filth, and sliminess, which is completely undeserved! A snake is an ideal pet, not demanding, no unpleasant odors, and no allergic reactions.

On the contrary, they are particularly fascinating animals. For example, snakes use their forked tongue to pick up tiny scent particles and identify them with a special organ. Some snakes even have heat receptors that allow them to “see” their prey very accurately, even in complete darkness.

Then there’s their unique shape, they can move without legs or feet. With their scales and muscular bodies, they are perfectly capable of moving quickly and agilely, and they are excellent climbers on all kinds of surfaces.” – Product Manager Reptile
