Let's be honest - hiking with kids is a challenge, with pre-teens - a huge challenge, in hot sunny Gran Canaria with great beaches and ocean - incredible challenge🤣 bcs why, mama?!
So here comes a series of reels with my favorite family hikes and their "selling points" for parents 😎

BARRANCO DE LOS CERNICALOS

- for parking type Merenderos Barranco de los Cernicalos, just on the street and short walk up to starting point
- most of the path in shadows of fig and Bamboo trees
- refreshingly accompanied by rushing water sounds
- be careful if going after the rain, can be slippery and muddy

Uniek in Nederland:

Bevalbus van Verloskundig centrum Nij Libben

Je hebt in ons land de keuze om o.l.v de eigen verloskundige thuis te bevallen of in het ziekenhuis. Maar daar komt een keuze bij!

Met veel trots presenteren we jullie de “Nij Libben Bevalbus”. Speciaal ontwikkeld voor Verloskundig Centrum Nij Libben. De bus is comfortabel en volledig uitgerust. Inclusief zwaailicht bij spoed. Daarnaast biedt de bus ook nog andere voordelen.
Ten eerste zou een bevalbus wel eens dè oplossing kunnen zijn voor het capaciteitsprobleem in de verloskunde. Jullie kennen vast wel de verhalen over personeelstekorten en overvolle ziekenhuizen.

Ook kan het een goed alternatief zijn voor vrouwen die niet thuis willen bevallen maar het ziekenhuis ook niet direct zien zitten. En daarnaast, wil je een Kollumer of een Westreender baby? Dan zoeken we een mooi rustig plekje bij bv het Hertenkamp. Heb je een ander leuk idee dan is dat zeker mogelijk.

Vind je mobiel bevallen in onze bevalbus toch wat spannend zonder ziekenhuis dichtbij, dan parkeren we ons busje op het parkeerterrein van het MCL of Nij Smellinghe. Zodat we bij eventuele spoed heel dichtbij zijn.
