What if you were the brain of an ant colony? 🐜🧠

In the game Microtopia, you guide a swarm of robotic ants using pheromone trails: you automate routes, fine-tune work rhythms, and feed the queen. You gather resources, build, produce and raise new queens that take flight to found new colonies.

But growth is never neutral: do you exhaust the environment, or cultivate a fragile equilibrium? Where does the organism end, and the world begin?

It's no wonder Donna Haraway received the prestigious Erasmus Prize this year. Nor was it surprising that the main hall was packed when she spoke about her work at the Next Nature Museum last November. The American thinker has long been considered one of the most influential philosophers of our time.
