In collaboration with Partoer, Suzan Christaanse has created a serious game to deal with the effects of facility-decline in rural areas. It has recently been launched and will be used by residents in Fryslan to support public-private collaboration and co-creation with different stakeholders. It can be used for local and regional problems related to education, sport, health care but also social and cultural facilities.

26-29 March 2018 there will be a conference/masterclass for young academics in the field of planning (and related fields) in Groningen. Admission is free (!) and the theme is 'Navigating Change - planning for societal and spatial transformations'. The call for abstracts is now open!

there will be key-note lectures (Maarten Hajer and Philip McCann), practice-based workshops, a day trip, conference dinner and sessions with ample time for feedback on your research.
