I say this because I care... 🫶

If we’re going to get you moving better and feeling stronger, we have to get honest. Chiropractic is a partnership, and while the adjustment is the “reset,” what happens between our sessions is where the real transformation lives.

My goal isn’t just to “fix” a symptom. It’s to help your nervous system adapt and thrive. But I can’t out-adjust a lifestyle that stays the same once you leave the office.

Those first few days at home are sacred. There is a specific kind of stillness in a house with a five-day-old, and it’s a true privilege to be invited into that space. 🏠

The Mom messaged me yesterday and said “Nothing is wrong... I just want to support him from the beginning." And I couldn’t agree more!

Today’s care:
🤰Mama: Breastfeeding posture, upper back tension, lingering hip pain from labor.
👶🏼 Baby: Gentle nervous system support to help with latch, gassiness, and neck tension.

He was so relaxed that he slept through most of it...
and by the end, Mom and Dad invited me back for the 8:00pm bedtime shift. 😂

So grateful to be a small part of this family’s village. ✨

Halfway in, we looked at each other and started laughing: “Good thing you got adjusted this week.” 😅

Thank you to the wonderful group of women who joined Lena and me for our Strong and Supported Postpartum workshop yesterday. 💛

We talked about reconnecting with the core and pelvic floor, and how simple things like posture, breathing, and body awareness play a big role in recovery after birth.

Lena guided the group through gentle yoga and held space for the emotional side of postpartum, while I shared practical tools to better understand and support the body during this season.

It was such a special afternoon of movement, learning, and connection.

Spitting up.
Back arching.
Tummy time battles.

These things often show up together, not separately.

If tummy time feels impossible because your baby spits up or arches their back, you’re not alone. Many parents stop tummy time because it seems uncomfortable for their baby — but there are gentler ways to build strength, like starting with side-lying.

Babies don’t grow out of patterns — they grow with them. And early support can make a big difference for comfort and development. 👶

We see this all the time in the practice. People are told they need a stronger core, so they start doing more and more sit-ups.

The problem is… sit-ups mostly train the hip flexors and recurs abdominus, not the deep core system that stabilizes your spine.

Your real core is a pressure system made up of:
✨ diaphragm
✨ deep abdominals
✨ pelvic floor
✨ spinal stabilizers

When these muscles work together, they create stability and allow your body to move efficiently.

A strong core isn’t about doing more crunches.

It’s about breathing, stability, and control.

Once that system works well, strength follows. 💪
