Uit mijn lezing Strong-Willed Children
This morning's topic is guiding Strong-Willed Children, specifically setting boundaries for them. As a parent with a child on the way, you're often on cloud nine. You can already picture a sweet picture of a cute baby to cuddle, and you're already curiously watching mothers cycling past with two exemplary children in their cargo bikes. What are the current problems in families? Today's children are different from the children of the past. Children often seem like old souls; they're stubborn, headstrong, and challenge parental authority. Not only at home, but also at school.
