Yesterday we gave together with Patty van Belle (SABI: Supporting Survivors and Caregivers after Brain Injury (Hooi op je vork)) Hetty Driesen, Kiki Nortier and Shanon Schouten (Odion) a presentation about SABI (Hooi op je vork) during a theme meeting from NAH netwerk Kennemerland in Zandvoort
We gave a presentation how the ideas of SABI (Hooi op je vork) , which we have known for years, inspired us to look at opportunities, and rehabilitation after Cees his stroke

Wij gaven een presentatie hoe het gedachtengoed van Hooi op je vork, waar we al jaren bekend mee zijn, ons inspireerde om te kijken naar mogelijkheden, kansen, en revalidatie na Cees zijn herseninfarct

15 ½ years ago we decided to give up our permanent job. After brainstorming and looking at possibilities we decided (after a challenging assignment that came to us) to start our own company: Blankers-Hage V.O.F. started on February 1, 2003. After a period of about 4 years with alternating temporary agency work, and work for our own company, the work for Blankers-Hage became more and more, so there was no time for temporary work.

The work in the Netherlands and Estonia was increasing, and many challenging activities came to our way. On August 1, 2015 we were proud that we could celebrate our 12.5 year jubilee of Blankers-Hage V.O.F in Estonia. A good running company with many nice and challenging activities in the Netherlands and Estonia.

Not knowing what would happen a few days later.

After the severe cerebral infarction in early August 2015 and a year later the small cerebral hemorrhage of Cees, Blankers-Hage still exists. Formally under Rini's name, it is still emotionally our company where Cees has a large share in involvement, advice, presentations and in Estonia together with Rini trainings.

Cees is still moving forward, which we are very happy with, and the end is not yet in sight.

People said: Cees will never give training again. We thought and think differently, and experience has already proven that. By fighting and looking at opportunities you get far. Cees is an example for many people with and without non born brain injury.

On this day we do not look back to the last 2.5 years, but we are proud of the past 15 years and we toast the future of Blankers-Hage with and of the two of us.

12. juunil 2017 toimub koolitus, mille teemaks on „Kohtumääruse alusel ravil/hooldusel olevate isikute probleemse käitumise juhendamine“

Koolituse viib läbi Tom van Son Tom van Son on lõpetanud Utrehti Ülikooli eripedagoogi ja psühholoogina ning õppinud ka psühhiaatriat sundravi fookusega. Ta on töötanud kerge vaimupuude ja psüühikahaigusega klientidega, olnud programmide looja ja läbiviia; töötanud sundravi meeskondades. Viimasel ajal on ta olnud ekspert CCE-le Hollandis eriti keeruliste probleemse käitumise juhtumite korral.

Koolituse teemad: teenuste poliitika, kliendi käitumise vaatlemine seoses psüühikahäiretega, retsidivism, hindamise instrumendid, töö juhtumitega.
Koolitus toimub Tallinnas Tervise Arengu Instituudis Hiiu 42. Koolituse algus on 12.06.17 kl 10.30 ning toimub inglise keeles, tõlkega.

Experience garden in Leila Küla 2017

A looking, tasting, smelling and doing experience.
After some successful years we open this year again our garden for groups of clients from all kind of handicaps, diseases, and children.

Think of people with a mentally disabled handicap, Psychiatric disorders, dementia/elderly people, groups of children.

Together with the careworkers/teachers they have some wonderful hours were they can experience all kind of things.
From this year you can also book a combination day with:
Horsriding (Monika Salumaa, Pia Miller), or circus workshop by Ain Klaassen (max 15 person, 2 hours, min 75 euro).
