Voel je je ook wel eens zoals ik op de foto? Even niks, alleen maar liggen en ontspannen?
A.s. vrijdag geef ik een extra lang les 'ontspannen het weekend in'. Te volgen in de studio of online thuis. Dus ook als je niet in Lelystad woont, kun je toch de les volgen.

Normaal sta ik zelf niet zo in close-up in beeld. Ik vind altijd wat van mezelf, ik denk dat het vrouwen eigen is.
Zeker nu ik (wat) ouder wordt merk ik hoe belangrijk het is om Ayurveda nog meer in te gaan zetten om gezond te blijven.

Hiervoor doe en geef ik 'anti-rollatortherapie' om mijn rug recht te houden en ervoor te zorgen dat ik niet ga krimpen en mijn rug zo lang mogelijk soepel blijf. (Ook wel yoga genoemd).

Hiervoor doe ik om mijn spieren en gewrichten soepel te houden.

Ga ik naar de fit20 Lelystad om mijn kracht te houden (hier werk ik trouwens ook op vrijdagochtend)

En gebruik ik de kennis van Ayurveda op velerlei manieren.

Hoe ik dit in de zomer doe vertel ik morgen (vrijdag) om 15u tijdens het webinar Over Yoga en Ayurveda in de ZOMER.

Dear all, a while ago I only had this page for Ayurveda, both for English and Dutch followrs. However, I have separated the two now, so this page will be only in English from now on.

Sitting quietly will help to calm down the moving part of Vata. Outside in nature is great of course, but not necessary.

Why is balance so important? Ayurveda states that everything in life is about balance. It is doable to create balance in your body and life, but to maintain this balance, and especially over a longer period of time is really hard. And diet alone is not enough. Your amount and type of exercise and your lifestyle also play a major part. So 3 pillars. I will post more soon.

Have you ever tried making your own almond milk? It's easy and so much tastier than shop bought milk.

Here's how to do it:
Soak a handful of almonds overnight. When the almonds have soaked they are softer and you can squeeze the skin off easily. The skin is considered indigestible in Ayurveda.

Add a litre of (filtered) water and put in a high speed blender for about 1 minute and your almond milk is ready for use. This will keep in the fridge for at least 3 days.
Use it to make porridge or a nice smoothie
