Training for your first race block starts now. Fuel it properly.
Races are decided in training, not on race day. Training your legs is obvious, but training your gut is not. High carbohydrate intake only works if you have trained it. Long runs and quality sessions make intake automatic: how much you tolerate, when you take it, all without breaking rhythm.
The goal is not just to reach the start line; it’s to finish on a system that holds.
