You will find our GOTS label, including our registration number, on all of our products, and we are very proud of that.

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It is the international standard for organic textiles and guarantees that the entire production chain — from cleaning the cotton (separating the fibres from the seeds) through to the manufacture of the final product — is carried out in a sustainable way.

This means that no pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used during cultivation. Only approved substances are used for dyeing and printing, and decent working conditions are ensured at every stage of production. In other words, every step of the production process is monitored to ensure it meets the required standards. And we believe that is only right, because you want to be certain that your fabric is truly organic and that it is produced in a way that is fair and beneficial for both people and the environment. Why did we design a special hair towel years ago?
A regular towel can of course gather wet hair and be twisted and tied around your head. However, it often only stays in place for a short while and, as soon as you start moving, the towel comes loose and falls to the floor. This can be quite annoying, especially if you’ve just applied a face mask or are in the bath and don’t want your hair to get wet.

To ensure the towel stays in place and allows you to relax and fully enjoy your me-time, we developed a special towel. It features an elastic band on one side and a button to secure the towel - the hairtowel!

Voilà! Now it’s time to relax and enjoy. 🧖‍♀️

We offer the basic tote bag in our range in poplin fabric (150 g/m²) and in a light heavyweight canvas (280 g/m²). Poplin is thinner and lighter than canvas. In addition to these fabrics, we can also produce the basic tote bag in other materials, such as denim or a quilted fabric. This immediately gives the bag a very different look and feel.

Do you already know in Utrecht? They make the most beautiful and delicious breads, as well as lovely sweet pastries. It is highly recommended as a place to enjoy a cup of coffee after a walk along the Kromme Rijn.

They also offer very beautiful personalised cotton bags, perfect for carrying all the tasty treats you’ve bought. Naturally, the bag is made from 100% organic cotton. 🥰

We are often asked what you can use tape for.
This naturally depends on the width, but as an example, the black-and-white tape can be used as a handle for a bag or a phone pouch. The pattern adds a lovely twist to the design.

Today is Blue Monday, supposedly the most gloomy day of the year – or so they say. We think it’s a bit of nonsense. But if you do happen to feel a little affected by it, the best remedy is to get moving and head outside, even if it’s raining.

This week is very typical for January: bleak, grey and rainy. In other words, a perfect excuse to relax indoors – and what could be nicer than lounging around in your bath robes?

Our bathrobes are unisex, making them suitable for both men and women. The belt makes it easy to fasten the gown.

That way, a dark January evening suddenly feels a lot more bearable, doesn’t it?

What makes Bo Weevil towels just that little bit different from, for example, HEMA towels?

The biggest difference is, of course, that Bo Weevil towels are GOTS certified. This means that the cotton used to make the towels is 100% organic and grown without the use of chemical pesticides.

They are also produced and dyed in the most environmentally friendly way. As a result, the towels contain no toxic or skin-unfriendly residues.

Definitely good to know when you dry yourself off every day.
