Stop waiting for motivation…

Some days it’s there, some days it’s not. And if you’re like me, you’ve probably tried relying on it to get things done.

Here’s the thing: motivation is unreliable.

It comes and goes. But small, consistent habits? They stick.

Your nervous system LOVES repetition.

When you do the same little action every day, your body and brain learn:

👉️This is safe
👉️ I can do this without overwhelm
👉️ It’s becoming automatic

That’s why tiny habits - like 5–10 minutes of yoga, a quick mindful pause, a short stretch - can completely shift your energy, focus, and stress levels over time.

No perfection needed. Just consistency.

Pick one micro-habit today. Do it the same way for 5 days. Watch it become effortless, and notice how your body and mind start to relax.

I’m doing this myself this week in the Mind-Body Reset Challenge; following my own small, daily practices.

Want to join me and see how small steps create big shifts?

DM me "RESET" and I will send you all the info.

Feeling stressed and stretched too thin?

Self-care often slips first — but it doesn’t have to.

Meet your non-negotiable 5

One tiny habit. Five minutes or less. Big impact.

It could be:
👉️ 5 minutes of stretching before your laptop
👉️ Slow breaths before lunch
👉️ A short walk between meetings
👉️ Tea without multitasking

Small doesn’t mean insignificant.

These micro-moments retrain your nervous system to feel calm, grounded, and in control.

Pick your non-negotiable 5 today.

Write it down. Commit. Feel the difference.

You know that feeling when your mind says, “I’m fine,” but your body quietly disagrees?

For me that wasn’t a big surprise - being a mom for only 15 weeks now, while exclusively breastfeeding. And although my daily habits made sure that I could keep an overview of what was going on, once I started working again, I did feel that my body needed more energy to “do it all”.

My body started to disagree more and more and my mind is still a bit fussy, looking for words during conversations (hello hormones, hello mom-brain).

This is why I decided to start the Mind-Body Reset Challenge myself.

I noticed that as soon as I gave myself permission to pause — just 10 quiet minutes on my mat — my body let out a huge sigh.

Shoulders softened (especially between my shoulder blades), breath deepened… and suddenly I could feel just how much tension I’d been carrying without noticing.

And yes, as a yoga teacher who is always very aware of her posture, it was a bit of a shock to notice that my posture during breastfeeding and changing my little one, was actually not helping my body feel better at all.

It’s funny how easy it is to stay in go-mode — ticking off tasks, showing up, pushing through — even with the best intentions - and while doing so, becoming blind to the impact it has on our bodies.

Here’s what I’m already noticing after a few days:

✨ My focus is clearer
✨ I’m reacting less to small things
✨ And I have more energy by the end of the day — not less.

This first week of the Mind Body Reset challenge is all about resetting the nervous system and breaking that stress loop that so many of us live in without realising it.

It’s a gentle reminder that stillness isn’t laziness — it’s a signal to your body that you’re safe to exhale again.

How does your body tell you when it’s been in go-mode for too long?

You finally sit down on the sofa after a busy day.

There’s nothing urgent left to do.

Yet your mind… keeps going.

You scroll. You fidget. You think about what’s next.

Sound familiar?

It’s not that you don’t know how to relax...

it’s that your nervous system doesn’t feel safe enough to do so.

When you spend most of your time in “go mode” — thinking, planning, achieving — your body learns that this constant alertness is normal.

Even when you try to slow down, your system stays in a low-level fight-or-flight state, scanning for what’s next.

This is what I call the stress loop:
You feel tension or pressure ➡️ You push through to get things done ➡️ You get a temporary sense of relief ➡️ Your body never truly switches off ➡️ And before you know it, the cycle repeats.

Over time, this loop drains your energy, shortens your patience, and makes it almost impossible to rest — even when you technically “have time.”

The good news?

Your nervous system can learn to feel safe slowing down again.

That’s exactly what we focus on in Week 1 of the Mind-Body Reset Challenge — using gentle movement, breathwork and awareness practices to teach your body that calm is safe.

Because real rest doesn’t come from cancelling plans or escaping your to-do list.

It comes from helping your body feel safe enough to exhale.

🧘‍♀️ This week, try this:

Next time you notice yourself rushing, pause for one slow breath and feel your feet on the ground.

It’s a small moment — but it’s the first step out of the loop.

If you’re like most of the people I work with, your days are packed. You’re constantly “on,” juggling work, family, and everything in between—and yet, by the end of the day, your body feels tight, your energy is low, and your mind won’t switch off.

You know self-care is important, but it often feels like just another thing to add to your to-do list. And let’s be honest—it rarely sticks.

That tension in your shoulders, the stiffness in your hips, the ache in your back… it’s like a constant reminder that something needs to change.

The truth? Self-care doesn’t need to be complicated.

It starts with listening to your body, even for a few minutes a day:

👉🏻Tiny movements to release tension in your shoulders or hips.

👉🏻Short, intentional breathing breaks to calm a racing mind.

👉🏻A moment to check in, slow down, and simply feel your body.

These micro-habits aren’t flashy, but they work. Over time, they become a routine that actually supports your energy, reduces tension, and gives your mind the space to breathe—without guilt or pressure.

That’s what I focus on in the Private Yoga Journey: helping you discover simple, sustainable ways to care for yourself, even on the busiest days.

Because self-care isn’t selfish—it’s the foundation for a life where your body feels strong, your mind feels clear, and your days feel manageable.

✨ You don’t need hours. You just need a few intentional minutes that actually make a difference.

If your ready to make selfcare a part of your daily life, send me a DM & we’ll chat ♥️

Are you ready to redefine your relationship with selfcare?

I’m here to support you!

& if you need a little extra motivation: I’m diving into my own Mind Body Reset Challenge over the next 5 weeks - sharing my experiences with you in my stories ♥️.

It’s never to late to start & there is never a “good” time - if you want to claim back your selfcare, the moment is now!

That’s the thing about quick fixes… they’re like taking a sip of water when you’re already parched…

Refreshing for a moment, but the thirst always comes back.

What you really need is a steady stream — small daily resets that keep you nourished, energised, and clear-headed all day long. 🔥

That’s why I created the Daily Habit Booster.

It’s like building little stepping stones of calm through your day, so you don’t fall back into the rush and overwhelm.

Imagine starting your morning without the heaviness in your chest, pausing midday and actually feeling your shoulders drop & ending the evening with energy left for the things (and people) you love ❤️.

It’s not about squeezing in another to-do.

It’s about weaving in moments that flow so naturally, they become part of your daily routine without even trying.

Want your calm to last longer than 5 minutes? Drop a 🔥 in the comments and I’ll send you the link to join.

What you’re really after isn’t another self-care “should.”

It’s the feeling. The shift. The life that actually works for you.

✨ Waking up without that fog of exhaustion clouding your morning.

✨ Getting through your day without running on caffeine and adrenaline.

✨ Ending the week with energy left for yourself, not just collapsing on the couch.

✨ Feeling steady in your mind and supported in your body — even when life throws curveballs.

You’re not craving more “to-dos.”

You’re craving a life that actually feels sustainable.

Where your habits give you energy instead of draining it.

Where stress doesn’t control your mood or your body.

Where you can move, rest, and show up fully — without the overwhelm.

That’s exactly what we build inside the Daily Habit Booster — small, consistent resets woven into your day so calm and energy stick.

And if you want to go deeper, the Mind-Body Reset Challenge takes you on a full 5-week journey to reset your nervous system, strengthen your body, and create lasting wellbeing from the inside out.

🪫Calm, energy, and ease aren’t just moments — they can be your daily reality.

23/10/2025

I created the Daily Habit Booster based on the exact steps I’ve taken over the last few years to bring more calm and consistency into my daily life.

Instead of riding the highs and lows of energy and mental wellbeing, I learned how to build habits that actually support me — even as a new mom.

And if you’ve been there, you know exactly what I mean — a newborn doesn’t care about schedules, and the first few weeks can feel like chaos wrapped in tiny socks. 🙌🏻

Yet having the structure of small, intentional habits helped me come back into a rhythm that felt manageable, energising and truly nourishing.

That’s exactly what I’ve bundled into the Daily Habit Booster — the “how-to’s” of creating your own personalised daily habit routine.

Because building habits that stick and actually support your wellbeing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I’m not here to tell you what you should do — I’m here to help you design a routine that fits your life, your energy, and your schedule.

✨ Your 5-minute resets, mindful pauses, and little movement breaks can become more than a fleeting relief — they can form a daily flow that carries you through your whole day.
