Katarzyna Marcinkowska heeft de studio in 2009 opgericht en gaf het de naam Pilogin, Pilates & Yoga Studio. In 2011 is de studio wegens succes verhuisd naar een grotere locatie op de Dr. Zamenhofstraat en 1 jaar later heeft de studio de nieuwe naam, Yoganesa, gekregen.

Together we are stronger 🙂

Some of you can still remember Stephanie. She is former Yoganesa member and at the time when studio was located on Dr. Zamenhofstraat she helped me in the studio. With this gentle gesture, donation and forwarding her message, I hope I can help her and her boyfriend.

"On the rugby field, on his surfboard in the waves, skating through the streets, or wakeboarding across the water — sports have always been his lifeblood.

That’s why it is so impactful that illness now holds him still. Yet his fire remains. With the same passion, he follows Formula 1, motorsports, rugby, MMA, boxing, and football. At home, our young cat Skye brings light even on the hardest days.

In March, everything changed: Marvin was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. He went through six rounds of intensive chemotherapy, but sadly without success. Later, doctors discovered the cancer had spread to his brain and spinal cord. To fight this, he endured high-dose CNS treatment, shortly after systemic chemo. His body was left exhausted, but his spirit remains unbroken.

What happens next depends on how strong he can recover. Every small step forward is a victory. We hold on to hope, day by day.

Why support is needed

With no income, costs keep rising: hospital travel, healthy food, supplements, and complementary therapies to support his strength.

Our target of €35,000 covers 12 months of essential living and recovery costs, plus a small buffer for the unexpected.

I’m Steph, Marvin’s girlfriend, and I personally manage this fundraiser to ensure every donation goes directly toward his care and recovery.
