My name is Hilario Robis. For those who are meeting me for the first time, I am a Babaylan — a traditional shaman (medicine man) from the Philippines, now living in The Hague, The Netherlands. I arrived here in 2013 as a chef, accepting an unexpected invitation with an open heart, ready for whatever the journey would reveal.

🌿 In just my first two weeks in the Netherlands, the purpose became clear:
I was guided here by the universe to revive, preserve, and uphold the healing arts of my family, keeping the ancestral fire alive.

🇳🇱✨ I felt deeply that the spirit of this land and its people is longing to reconnect with their roots as spiritual beings. The cultural diversity of the Netherlands creates a beautiful openness for many spiritual paths — and this inspired me to open Hilot Maharlikan in 2018.

Let us share with you more why we open a ceremonial healing space for couples.
It is because we know from our experiences the process of self development as an individual and as a couple.

That the romantic love field is one of the most powerful healing spaces that the universe and nature teaches us. And this is the field where a family tree starts to root and grow, where the process of growing is like a season and climate that is constantly changing.

What we call home! It is important to know that from home we start learning most of the attitudes, personalities and programs that represent or mold us now. Therefore our mission doing this is to share the wisdom and knowledge we learn and master through our everyday life path.

That will give light and clarity to every couple understanding themselves, their human being and their relationship to others and their romantic partner. Where every couple will learn to cleanse, heal, and protect each other and learn to be together in every ups and down of their journey.

For them not to share or transfer their old wounds, traumas, and unpleasant attitude to their next generations. And create a much better and safer home for their family. In this ceremony every couple will strengthen their mental and emotional focus to stay in every moment.

Learn to keep reclaiming their true identity without feeling ashamed and trying to change their partners but learn how to accept them as who they are until the end. And serve a good example for the next generations of self aware human beings. Mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Last weekend, I had the honor of joining a sacred plant medicine ceremony — and while I don’t usually share about my personal works here (as this page is dedicated to our Filipino shamanic healing arts and culture) — this experience feels too special to keep to myself. 🌿🔥

I was deeply blessed to meet the beautiful indigenous people of the Noke Koi Tribe : Pajé Pocha Kamãnawa who is first time to be here in Europe and Vana Noke Koî second time sharing his work in Europe.

Their mission to preserve their traditions and protect Mother Earth truly resonates with my heart. It was an honor to serve as a fire keeper for their work, holding space for their powerful medicine.

The Noke Koi are not as widely known in Europe as other indigenous lineages, yet they carry profound wisdom, humility, and ancestral knowledge that the world needs. 🌍 and I feel called to support and uplift their journey.

If you wish to deepen your spiritual path, I wholeheartedly encourage you to experience their healing works and ceremonies. They are among the purest spiritual workers I’ve encountered, and being in their presence is both humbling and transformative.
