Official Launch of the Legal Aid Platform

Within the framework of the Legal Protection and Awareness for Women project, implemented by the Diocesan Development Office in cooperation with Microjustice and funded by the Embassy of Slovenia in Cairo (سفارة سلوفينيا فى القاهرة Veleposlaništvo Slovenije v Kairu), we announce the official launch of the Legal Aid Platform. This is a significant step aimed at promoting equitable access to justice and providing reliable legal support to individuals and groups most in need.

The platform offers comprehensive legal services, including:
• Legal guidance and consultations.
• Awareness of rights and obligations.
• Referral to specialists when needed.
• Simplified and easily accessible information resources.

This initiative stems from our belief in the role of legal knowledge in protecting rights and empowering individuals to make informed decisions, in line with our commitment to supporting the rule of law and promoting social justice.

We continue advancing the Protection and Legal Awareness for Women

📅 On 27/11/2025, we held the third lawyer capacity-building session, where we officially introduced the first free Legal Aid Platform for women in Assiut — a digital tool offering legal information, procedures, documents, timelines, service locations, and guidance on topics such as marriage, divorce, alimony, child custody, labor rights, compensation, and business registration.

🧑‍⚖️ The platform also enables lawyer registration and connection with beneficiaries, creating a transparent and professional framework.

Additionally, a general session on cybercrime laws was conducted to support lawyers with updated knowledge and legal tools.

💪 Step by step, we continue making justice accessible, practical, and closer to women who need it most.

📅 في 27/11/2025، عقدنا الدورة الثالثة لبناء قدرات المحاميات، حيث أطلقنا رسميًا أول منصة مساعدة قانونية مجانية للنساء في أسيوط - وهي أداة رقمية تقدم معلومات قانونية، وإجراءات، ووثائق، وجداول زمنية، ومواقع خدمات، وإرشادات حول مواضيع مثل الزواج، والطلاق، والنفقة، وحضانة الأطفال، وحقوق العمل، والتعويضات، وتسجيل الشركات.

🧑‍⚖️ كما تتيح المنصة تسجيل المحاميات والتواصل مع المستفيدات، مما يخلق إطارًا شفافًا ومهنيًا.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك، عُقدت جلسة عامة حول قوانين الجرائم الإلكترونية لدعم المحاميات بالمعرفة والأدوات القانونية الحديثة.

✨ Empowering women in Assiut!

Microjustice, in partnership with EDO Assiut and with funding from the Embassy of Slovenia in Egypt, launched the first activities of the Protection & Legal Awareness for Women Project.

📅 On 22/11/2025, we held our first awareness session with 30 women from the program, discussing domestic violence & cybercrime rights — and celebrating a major milestone:
🌐 The launch of the first free legal platform for women in Assiut.

This platform provides easy legal guidance, step-by-step procedures, required documents, timelines, service locations, fees, and connects users with a committed network of lawyers.

💪 We continue working to make justice accessible, practical, and close to the women who need it most.

✨ تمكين المرأة في أسيوط!

أطلقت منظمة مايكروجستس، بالشراكة مع مكتب التنمية في أسيوط وبتمويل من سفارة سلوفينيا في مصر، أولى فعاليات مشروع الحماية والتوعية القانونية للمرأة.

📅 في 22 نوفمبر 2025، عقدنا أولى جلساتنا التوعوية مع 30 سيدة من برنامج ، لمناقشة حقوقهن في مجال العنف الأسري والجرائم الإلكترونية، احتفالًا بإنجاز هام:

This platform provides clear legal information, practical resources, and connects women with lawyers in a transparent and professional framework.
