Surfing and Travelling. ‘I Love The Seaside’ offers the best of both worlds, and a little more. For our books we explored surf meccas and unknown coastal areas extensively: France, Portugal, northern Spain, Andalusia (Southwest Europe edition), Scandinavia, the North Sea islands, Dutch, Belgian and Normandy coast (Northwest edition), Morocco and Great Britain & Ireland. Of course you can find where and when to surf, for all levels. But more importantly, we give you a good sense of the backdrop, the scenery and the atmosphere. Beside surfing necessities, I Love The Seaside points out the nicest places to hang out and have a coffee or do some funky shopping. Where to visit local music and art venues and do other activities like horseback riding, yoga, hiking, biking or relaxing, visit a hammam or get a good massage. We guide you to the nicest seaside accommodations for different budgets and cool places to eat or enjoy a sunset beer. You’ll learn some funny facts and get to know interesting local people by reading their anecdotes and stories. You’ll get handy tips and tricks to improve your surfing and overall health and fitness. And beware; the delicious local recipes and food facts will encourage a gourmand appetite. I Love The Seaside Surf and Travel guide informs, entertains and gives a good read, all in one. Cold water surfer? Learn how to prevent and detect ear problems - the team of will be joining us at the SEASIDE SURF & TRAVEL FILM FESTIVAL this Saturday in Scheveningen. They’ll be offering free advice and inspection of the ears. And you can win a pair of SurfEars at the raffle!

Join us for the Dutch premiere of CEIBO, one of the 3 premieres we’ll be screening at the Seaside Surf & Travel Festival, 29 November at . This film follows surfers and Lucy Small ( ) as they travel across Ecuador. From the land rights struggles in the Andes and Amazon to an Olympic surfer who’s paved the way for women, Ceibo explores some of the most vital struggles of our time. Along the way, Pacha unravels her own changing identity as she reconnects with her Ecuadorian roots. CEIBO is a film by , Lucy Small and Pacha Light.

SEASIDE SURF & TRAVEL FILM FESTIVAL
We’re organising our third get-together this year! This time, we stay close to home, with the iconic Pier in our hometown of Scheveningen as our venue. And the theme’s right at our core :-)

Join us for the premiere of three bespoke surf films, and a few short movies too. There’ll be art, music, drinks and food. We’re throwing in a free raffle as well (your order is your lottery ticket).

The films we’ve chosen for this festival highlight every aspect of surf and travel - from the culture and adventure to the consequences. They’ll spark delight and conversation, entertain and bring new insights!
