My aim is to help you create reality and the life you want for yourself through healing your relationships, past traumas, and enhancing your self-image. I do it by removing layers of conditioning, unbinding the negative experiences of the past and releasing the traumas from minds and bodies.

“procrastination” is derived from the Latin verb procrastinare — to put off until tomorrow. But it’s more than just voluntarily delaying. Procrastination is also derived from the ancient Greek word akrasia — doing something against our better judgment.
That self-awareness is a key part of why procrastinating makes us feel so rotten. When we procrastinate, we’re not only aware that we’re avoiding the task in question, but also that doing so is probably a bad idea. And yet, we do it anyway.

One of my role models Bessel van der Kolk speaks about problems me and many of my colleagues face: "As long as we live with a diagnostic system without scientific validity, all of us are part of the problem. Too often, we label our patients with the diagnoses that are in line with what the insurance companies will reimburse us for, rather than what’s actually going on. In fact, many clinicians confide to me that they don’t bother making diagnoses at all. But how can you treat anybody and ask to be paid for your services if you don’t have a clear idea of what’s wrong and what you need to do to fix it? How would you feel if you went to a cardiologist who gave you the treatment that the insurance company will pay for without really bothering to find out what’s wrong with you? How can we respect ourselves, and be respected by our non-mental health colleagues, if we continue to rely on the opinions of insurance companies and ignore the basics of good diagnosis and a solid scientific approach to clinical care?"

Pioneering trauma specialist Bessel van der Kolk took aim not only at the politics within the therapy field that determine what diagnoses get into the DSM, but the politics in the larger arena that lead people to ignore the prevalence of trauma in society.

You worked hard to achieve everything you were told would lead to a fulfilled and happy life. Your outward image is immaculate: perfect body, spouse, kids and a perfect career.
And yet, you are unable to enjoy any of it.
You feel like a shiny apple with a worm inside. Your outward image is immaculate, yet the inner critic is always there to remind you that you are not up to the task and could have done better. It never stops.

All your partners seem fine at the beginning but change after a short time. You are afraid that there aren’t any good men (or women) out there or they are already taken!
You wonder if something is wrong with you.

Sometimes you come across an article and it seams like the writer just downloaded your own thoughts about the subject... So instead of being smart I will quote:
True self-care is not salt baths and chocolate cake, it is making the choice to build a life you don’t need to regularly escape from.
It is letting yourself be normal. Regular. Unexceptional. It is sometimes having a dirty kitchen and deciding your ultimate goal in life isn’t going to be having abs and keeping up with your fake friends. It is deciding how much of your anxiety comes from not actualizing your latent potential, and how much comes from the way you were being trained to think before you even knew what was happening.
