ABCDE stands for asymmetry, border, color, diameter and evolving. These are the characteristics of skin damage that doctors look for when diagnosing and classifying skin cancer.

Taking care of your skin isn’t just about beauty – it’s about health. Early detection of skin cancer can save lives. Here’s what to look for:

**1. Asymmetry:** If you draw a line through the mole, the two halves won’t match.
**2. Border:** Edges are uneven, scalloped, or notched.
**3. Color:** Multiple colors in one mole – shades of brown, tan, black, and even red or blue.
**4. Diameter:** Watch for moles larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser).
**5. Evolving:** Any change in size, shape, color, or elevation, or any new symptom such as bleeding, itching, or crusting.

When in doubt, check it out! Regular skin exams by a dermatologist are crucial. Protect your skin with sunscreen and stay vigilant. Your health is worth it!

Our dream is to build a chain of highly innovative skin centers in the Netherlands, focused on anti-aging and skin-improvement treatments. We want to bring the best practices from other countries, which are not yet exercised in The Netherlands or only accessible at clinics. Our plan is to open the first salon in the centre of Tilburg and afterwards to expand further.
