These talks with my bestie are always so nourishing. Sharing my philosophical thoughts what trauma is.
It got inspired by a conversation I had with my dear friend who studied acupuncture and is now learning about the diaphragms.
Anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about here: Irene Lyon is talking and teaching about them in her SBSM course.
In my personal experience what trauma is, is the absence of movement or coherent movement in the body.
Think about your breath, your thoughts, your cells, your blood vessels, your organs and your energetic body.
I do not talk about it a lot but part of my sessions is the energetic layer I work with.
And the absence of movement can be felt right down to that layer of the body.
How about you? What are your thoughts on this?
