The Educational Committee and Life Science Representatives are looking for new members!

The Educational Committee is made up of 7 students and 7 teachers. Its task is to guard the quality of education of the Master’s programmes within the GSLS. Besides the evaluation of courses, giving of recommendations and advising on a variety of topics, there is plenty of room for your own projects. When becoming a member of the EC, you automatically become a member of the LSR as well.

The Life Science Representatives are the representatives of all GSLS Master’s programmes. The LSR consists of students from as many different programmes as possible. They keep in touch with the students, master coordinators and course coordinators to inquire about any study and wellbeing problems. Furthermore, they are responsible for projects like the buddy programme.

More information can be found at http://studyguidelifesciences.nl/organisation/educational-committee and https://studyguidelifesciences.nl/organization/life-sciences-representatives.

Are you interested? Write us what you apply for with a short motivation and send it, together with your resume, to LSR@umcutrecht.nl. For any questions, feel free to contact us!

The application deadline for the EC is Tuesday the 14th of September, for the LSR it is Friday the 17th.

We would like to share a message from a student in the Neuroscience and Cognition Masters program about a project idea for a GSLS Journal.

‘I am a Neuroscience and Cognition Master’s student at GSLS, and I came up with a project idea for a GSLS Journal. The project aims to create a journal created by students for students, which combines elements of scientific literature with those of popular science. I am currently trying to assess student attitude towards the project and would appreciate responses.’
