It can be hard to show up and hold space when it feels like the world is collapsing.

But what you give as a yoga teacher matters greatly. And especially now more than ever. 💗🙏

A shout out to all my fellow yoga teachers holding space, bringing community together, and helping people feel more grounded in their day, even if for just one breath. ❤️❤️❤️

You’re starting out and learning so many things when you’re new to teaching…..and that’s 100% OK.

Your favorite teacher is further along in their journey because they started 5, 10 or 20 years before you.

The only difference between you and them is time. ⌛️

So keep on going and you’ll get there too. I promise.

Save this for when you need a little pick me up reminder. ❤️

Jumping on the trend a little late…. But better late than never, right?

2016 was a big one: filled quality time with friends, my first trip to Costa Rica and attending a yoga retreat 🧘‍♀️, hand standing all over the world, saying goodbye to DC, and making a life changing move to Tanzania 🦒

Each step as brought me to where I am today, and for that I’m grateful 🙏

The only way to become a better yoga teacher is by teaching. Period.

There’s not shortcut. No roundabout. The only way to the other side is through. ➡️

But support in that journey is suuuuuper helpful.

🌟So if you want support to grow your confidence and skills, comment ME below to join the waitlist for my fall 2026 mentorship program for yoga teachers. 💛

No wonder people think you have to be flexible to do yoga….because that’s what the marketing shows! 👎

I’m all about posting realistic content so people can see the REAL side of yoga.

➡️ So if you wanna see more real content where I struggle to put my foot behind my head, then TAP FOLLOW.

Cheers to keeping it real ✌️

In all seriousness, I have some really amazing dedicated and regular students who come to my classes via ClassPass.

But if you get a 1 star review because the music you play didn’t have enough words, it was too noisy outside the studio (which you had no control over), or your breath work class had too much breathing in it, please ignore and move on.

Don’t waste that time and energy. Period.

Focus on the dedicated students in front of you who show up week after week. 🌟

➡️ tap ❤️ if you agree!

Yoga Bio

Caitlin took her first yoga class in 2009 as a form of physical therapy to help recover from an injury. But she quickly realized there was much more to yoga than just the physical benefits. Her curiosity into yoga philosophy, pranayama, asana and anatomy grew over the years which eventually led to her to Koh Samui, Thailand where she completed her 200+ hour Yoga Teacher Training at Centered Yoga. Caitlin would like to thank all the amazing teachers she has practiced with around the world - from the US, to Costa Rica, to Bangladesh, to South Africa, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. She especially gives thanks to the amazing teachers she studied with in Thailand who shared so much knowledge and provided incredible support throughout the journey.
