We are happy to report another successful roadshow, Lupus and Covid-19, held virtually under the guidance of Prof Sandra Navarra on 20th November 2021. The roadshow attracted 280 participants who found the topic highly relevant and interesting and the session very engaging. The CME accredited Lupus Academy’s Middle East Summit Conference comprised two half day programmes, which were held on 9th & 10th of December 2016 In Dubai and delivered by a world-leading faculty. The meeting addressed the key issues in modern lupus research, diagnosis and management through plenary sessions and interactive workshops.

The meeting was attended by 153 physicians from 13 countries. >92% of delegates agreed the Lupus Academy Middle East Summit Conference :
•Challenged current thinking in lupus
•Provided a platform for the discussion of new ideas
•Provided updates in selected topics in Lupus, and in ground-breaking science and clinical practice
