Stop met het zelf willen oplossen.



Ja, ik weet het.

Jij bent sterk. Slim. Onafhankelijk.

The one who figures it out.

Always.



Maar hoe harder jij duwt…

hoe harder je lichaam terugduwt.

Natuurlijk hoef je niet alles uit handen te geven.

DUHH.



Maar je mag wél gaan ontvangen.

Liefde.

Aandacht.

Ruimte.

En de lessen die anderen allang geleerd hebben.

Doorleefd hebben.



Uitgeprobeerd hebben, met vallen en opstaan.

Zodat jij dat niet hoeft.

Voel eens hoe je lichaam ontspant,

hoe je adem wat meer ruimte krijgt

als je dit echt binnenlaat.



Dat jij het kan,

en geloof me, dat zien we van mijlenver,

betekent niet dat je het ook moet.

Niet op deze manier.



Wanneer je minder streng wordt voor jezelf

en je durft je open te stellen — echt openstellen —

onthult het leven een wereld

die voelt als schreeuwen van blijdschap

bovenop een berg na een zware hike.



Zo ver weg…

en toch al die tijd

gewoon voor je voeten.



De vraag is alleen:

open jij die deur?



Als je lichaam ontspant terwijl je dit leest…

als je ineens die uitademing voelt…

dan weet je dat dit jouw timing is.

1. Vrijheid
De vrijheid roept je.
Spreid je vleugels. Open de deuren.
Kies wat jouw wereld vergroot.
Laat los wat je klein houdt, onder druk zet of beperkt.
Als deze kaart jou aanspreekt, word je uitgenodigd tot onafhankelijkheid.
Geen teugels. Geen zadel.
Je blijft echt wel zitten.

2. Wedergeboorte
Trek je terug in je cocon.
Keer naar binnen.
Wie ben jij zonder stempels, overtuigingen en verwachtingen?
Van jezelf. Van een ander.
Verbind met je dromen.
Stap in de energie alsof ze al werkelijkheid zijn.
Spreek. Denk. Heb lief.
Vanuit die nieuwe realiteit.
Deze kaart nodigt je uit om dat pad nu te bewandelen.
De wereld wacht niet meer.

3. Cycli
Volg de stroom in jou.
Voor alles is een tijd.
Niets is blijvend. Alles beweegt.
Vecht je tegen moeheid?
Duw je jezelf door je to-do’s heen?
Vraag je lichaam wat het nu nodig heeft.
Laat los. Geef je over.
In de overgave ontstaat ruimte.
En daar ontvang je het licht.

Peace doesn’t come from fixing.
It arrives when we stand still.

Stop.
Breathe.
Ask your body what it needs — and do that.

Ignore it,
and exhaustion will decide for you.

Listen,
and your system regulates.
Inspiration comes alive.
Your breath responds.
Choices become wiser.

It’s not softness.
That’s intelligence.

How I overcame the diagnosis of never walking again at 19 years old

I woke up the morning after surgery, still high on morphine.

I asked the trauma specialist one question:
Will I be able to play again in three months?

He became awfully quiet.

Right then and there, I decided I would heal.
That I would play field hockey again.

Looking back now, I see that decision never stopped.

I am still determined to prove them wrong.
I keep healing, improving, and releasing pain.

My talus luxation destroyed nearly every bone in my ankle
and tore several ligaments and muscles in the process.

Yet today, I walk pain-free
and do whatever I want.

Start trusting your body.
Start trusting yourself.
Start believing that you can demand miracles.
