Maono Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization which is aimed to help people, and children in particular, to reach their full potential. Many projects are to be created by our community like a school for children from 3 to 12 years old, english lessons, a youth club to bring environmental, medical and management awareness to the future adults of the Walukuba Jinjasociety, a women workshop to create and sell local jewellery or clothes and many others...
Led by James Orimosi, this organization is involving many members of Walukuba Jinja community and some volunteers coming from all around the world who want to help and put their own abilities in children's hands. The result of all of this is a beautiful and self-working association entertained by and for the community of Walukuba Jinja. If you want to support us in our fight to change their life, you can join us as a volunteer or you can help us with donations like study materials, financial support, chairs, tables and so on.

Uganda has more than two million orphaned and homeless children. HIV/AIDS, Poverty, death of parents and many other factors has left many children vulnerable to education, shelter, food, medical care, clothing and security. Each child has his or her own unique story to tell. The Children in Uganda on the streets are in danger of illness, disease, malnutrition and child trafficking. Most children live in poverty and cannot provide for themselves.
