Why Do We Get Cancer? A Spiritual Reflection
I don’t believe there is one single reason why people get cancer. Life is complex, and so are our bodies.
So many factors can influence our health: the food we eat, lack of sleep, long term stress, suppressed emotions, fear, worry, and how we see and treat ourselves. Self-love matters. Rest matters. Feeling safe matters.
Sometimes the people around us affect us more than we realize. Living with or close to individuals who drain us emotionally, through control, manipulation, or constant tension, can slowly wear the body down.
Cancer doesn’t come from the same place for everyone. For some, it may be years of stress and sleep problems. For others, unprocessed emotions, trauma, or parts of life they pushed aside for too long.
When we gently bring everything in our life into the light, our relationships, habits, emotions, and inner world, the body and soul often already know what needs attention.
In stillness, meditation, nature, or quiet moments, answers tend to come. I’ve personally prioritized daily meditation, visualizing myself healthy every morning and evening, feeling health in my body, and setting intentions for the life I want to live ♥️
I don’t have the answers. These are just reflections, about cancer as a whole picture: body, mind, and soul.
