We were also honored to welcome Norway’s Ambassador to China Vebjørn Dysvik, the Norwegian Seafood Council’s CEO Christian Chramer, Seafood Analyst Eivind Hestvik Brækkan and the Director for the Chinese market Sigmund Bjørgo to our booth at the Seafood Expo. 🇳🇴 🇨🇳

Just like our salmon face strong currents to grow stronger, we’re crossing a continent to raise awareness for mental health.

Strong currents. Strong minds. One mile at a time. 💪🧠🚴‍♂️

Salmon swim upstream to become one of nature’s most powerful sources of nourishment, for both body and mind. Inspired by this resilience, our Seaborner Felipe Molina, a 45-year-old Chilean-Norwegian cyclist with international experience and an infectious commitment, is taking on the ultimate challenge: cycling coast to coast in the USA RAAM, the world’s toughest race to champion mental health. 💙

Seaborner Felipe Molina joins Eide, Clarify, and Watermoon in the grueling cycling race across the United States, RAAM 2025. 🚲 🚲 🚲 🚲 🇺🇸

The race kicks off on Saturday, June 14, from Oceanside, California, and concludes in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Covering over 4,800 kilometers through 12 states and climbing more than 51,800 meters in elevation, RAAM is not just a test of physical strength but a true challenge of mental endurance. With riders pushing through exhaustion, extreme weather, and continuous shifts, the race demands unwavering focus, resilience, and teamwork.

Team racers must complete the course within a maximum of nine days. It’s an extraordinary journey that highlights human determination and the power of a strong mind.

We wish Felipe and the entire team the best of luck on this incredible adventure!

Last year, Seaborn strengthened its position as the world's largest independent and non-integrated exporter of salmon and trout, with total sales of almost NOK 10 billion.

– Nothing is more motivating and gratifying than being strategically successful and achieving such results. We are very proud of what we have achieved, but we also know that we must continue to work hard and be innovative and forward-looking if we are to continue our progress, says CEO Dag Aksnes in Seaborn.

– This result is created by our dedicated employees, the Seaborners. Therefore, it is extra gratifying that we can now award the highest bonus ever to our employees, continues Aksnes.
