Norsk Biokjemisk Selskap, avd. Bergen Norsk Biokjemisk Selskap har som formål å fremme biokjemi, bioteknologi, molekylærbiologi og cell NBS er også medlem av Forum for Bioteknologi.

NBS skal representere norsk biokjemi utad, og ivareta forbindelsen med internasjonale biokjemiske organisasjoner. Selskapet er tilsluttet Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) og European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB).

For those of you interested in bioprinting and tissue engineering, Tekna offers an online event (sadly no physical tour of the lab, either) on March 15th. Welcome! :)

Three scientists from the Tissue Engineering Research Group at UiB will present their very interesting work on stem cells and regenerative medicine, with special focus on bioprinting. This technology might be a vital part in the future for personalized medicine!
