Following the recent AIDAnova incident, where an 18-year-old passenger tragically went overboard, we’re reminded how critical rapid detection and response are to maritime safety.

Traditional methods often rely on human vigilance — but in conditions where visibility is low and time is limited, that’s not enough.

At INTSA, our mission is to advance autonomous detection technology that enables faster alerts, better crew coordination, and more effective rescue outcomes. Systems like ProEye DTR are designed to reduce response times and enhance situational awareness — because at sea, seconds can save lives.

From heritage to high-tech!🚢

INTSA is proud to collaborate with the maritime high school in Kristiansand, where the legendary MS Lofoten has begun a new chapter as a school vessel.

This partnership gives maritime students hands-on experience with cutting-edge safety technology, as MS Lofoten is now equipped with our full ProEye DTR® system. Over the summer, our team worked side by side with the school to bring INTSA innovation on board.

Some cruise liners, along with the Norwegian Maritime Association, DNV, and the press, have already expressed interest in seeing our system in use. We’re excited to welcome them and many others on board MS Lofoten soon!

The future of ship safety is ready to be experienced today.
