"You Are Your Instrument

You’ve now developed your ability to recognize when reconnective energy is flowing through you. You know how to spot registers, you’re familiar with the “feel” of the energy around a patient’s body, and you’re now comfortable playing with this energy and letting what’s going to happen, happen.

In other words, you’re ready to be of assistance to someone in their healing.

Remember, your main goal in a Reconnective Healing session is to get yourself out of the way. As your body continues in its shift and accom- modation to carry the new frequencies, and after you’ve developed some familiarity with the feedback that’s part of using these energies, you’ll find that everything falls into place. Still, you’ll want to cultivate a certain mind-set before you begin working with other human beings. After all, now that you’ve hopefully kicked your old “healing toy” dependency, the only “instrument” you’ll be using for this kind of healing is YOU."

One state of mind that produces similar results is something called Emotional Quiescence: (from “Science Confirms Reconnective Healing” quoting McCraty, et al, 2006)
