About a year ago, I noticed my left Trapezius was larger than my right. My left Latissimus felt tighter than my right, and my right psoas and QL were extremely painful, weak, and tight.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago — I was at the gym doing “Lat pull downs”. After the first set, I felt intense pain at the left Latissimus’ insertion into the medial humerus, indicating a fairly severe muscle strain (maybe even a tear, since it still hurts).
Naturally, I blame my t-shirt (pictured here) since I was wearing it at the time.
I immediately bought a different shirt, but when I went to the gym the next day, my arm still hurt too much to work out. In fact, it hurts worse now than it did 2 weeks ago, so clearly the new t-shirt is also a terrible fit!
I was so upset that I called the t-shirt maker, but they assured me that the t-shirt I bought was the correct size, and fit well according to their measurements.
Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that this t-shirt doesn’t fit either, and I will be returning it.
A new saddle won’t fix old problems.
