Love yourself 💙
Build your inner peace, integrate.
Find your body your most sacred temple.
This is your home, there you belong.
Feel safe 💙

"The biggest mistake that we make is that we build our homes in other people. We build those homes and we decorate them with the love and care and respect that we want to come home to at the end of the day. We invest in homes in other people, and we evaluate our self worth based on how much those homes welcome us. And when those people walk away, those homes walk away with them, and all of a sudden we feel empty because everything that we had within us, we put in those homes. We trusted someone else with pieces of us. That emptiness that we feel doesn't mean that we have nothing to give, or that we have nothing within us. It's just that we built our home in the wrong place."

Sunday wake up 💛

"The alive body is characterized by a life of its own... it hums, it vibrates, it glowes. It is charged with feeling."
A.Lowen 'The Betrayal of The Body'

We have the obligation of taking good care of ourselves.
We all know whats best for us to keep on rolling :)
Please, do care of your bodies, listen to them and follow their signals. They carry a lot every single day, as the head is ordering.
Show some respect, for our bodies are our most meek servants. They need to be served back big time ❤️

Ta pamięć istnieje w komórkach organów, a zwłaszcza w napięciach mięśniowych".

As a Certified TRE Provider I need to know/realize when my clients get into dissociation while doing their body work.
One of my roles in the sessions is helping them get back to here and now.
And here come some words on what dissociation is.

"Dissociation, in terms of trauma, means a disconnection from an integrated sense of self in an attempt to survive an incident or period of overwhelming helplessness. It is important to see dissociation from this perspective as it gives a constructed view of how the body and mind react in order to survive rather than thinking "self-sabotage" is intentional. Dissociation is a survival strategy, a coping mechanism, to preserve still functional parts and happens simultaneously on a physical and psychological level."

TRUST
The most important thing in every sort of relationship.
You say "let go".
And you know, that the other human, your client, is doing it, when he allowes you to feel the weight of his head in your hands.
He feels safe, he trusts you, he lets you do your work, he's ready to receive.

Good to know what TRE can help you release

"It is most likely the fascia of the body that is the shaper of the body in reaction to trauma. Fascia is the connective tissue in the body that surrounds all of our bodily structures. Our fascia is itself a dimension of wholeness. It is made of interconnected tissues that reach everywhere in our body. In the living body, it is a fluid medium that appears to react to both physical and emotional stresses, and then harden, over time, into those reactive shapes. Although this requires more research to establish scientifically, there is a great deal of anecdotal evidence to suggest that the fascia stores the emotional charge of trauma and even the memories of the trauma, or at least, provides access to those memories. In this way, working with the fascia provides a comprehensive approach to releasing trauma from all aspects of the physical body, as well as releasing emotions that are held in the body, and bringing to awareness the memories and beliefs associated with the traumatic events so we may resolve them. The nervous system naturally relaxes into its parasympathetic mode as well, as we release the constrictions within our whole body."

"What does it feel like to be safe inside? Usually we determine safety as something/someone “outside” - in your house, with your friends, at work/school, in your car, in bed, but those are EXTERNAL people and spaces. We sometimes go to those people and places to try to feel safe, as they may represent what we assume as safety...or what seems to be a default sense of “safety”. Defaults are often patterns that we’ve lived our whole lives, and we believe them to be true. Our truths can be beliefs that are shaped at a very young age - we bring them into adulthood and continue patterns that are not necessarily “True”.

True safety can only be found in the BODY. Your body has directed you your whole life through something called NEUROCEPTION - these are indicators or neural circuits that distinguish whether situations or people are safe, dangerous, or life threatening.

Neuroception explains why a baby coos at a caregiver but cries at a stranger, or why a toddler enjoys a parent's embrace but views a hug from a stranger as an assault.

We grow Neuroception through TRE®, or Trauma Release Exercises - we develop a relationship with the outer world, from our inner world...the place we call HOME ❤️"
