We are honored to welcome Ole J. Dahlberg as a member of the GreinDX board. Dahlberg holds a Master's degree in General Genetics and Marine Biology from the University of Oslo (UiO). Dahlberg has more than 20 years of experience in international Life Science management.
He started his career as a scientist at Dynal ASA in 1997. Later he became a Senior Scientist at Cytomics AS, a company he co-founded in 1998. In 2000 he co-founded GenoVision, later acquired by QIAGEN in 2002, where he continued as a Managing Director and Associate Director. In 2007 he co-founded Mole Genetics AS, known for their award winning GeneMole® platform, an automated DNA extraction system. Next, in 2009, he joined Life Technologies (later acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific) as their Segment Director. Dahlberg moved on to becoming the Managing Director for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Norway, a position he held from 2012 to 2017. Dahlberg recently returned to Norway after several years as Vice President and General Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Carlsbad, California.
Ole Dahlberg is an accomplished and highly regarded international leader, with extensive board experience. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Oslo Cancer Cluster (since 2016) and Life Technologies (since 2014).
